Good Morning/Afternoon/Night from New York City. I'm a middle aged moderate in a sea of Democrats. I went to an engineering school here in the city and am currently a middle manager in a transportation/logistics job. I love golf and I'm a certified coach/referee in a junior athletics program(don't ask what sport). Let the games begin !
Alive and swinging. I actually took a friend from out of town on that very bike route, all the way up to the George Washington Bridge and back, about a month ago. The prick that did this is dead. Not that it's of any consolation to all the dead and injured.
Sorry, but the prick that did the bike attack I believe is very much alive, and will not get the death penalty unless Trump steps in and takes the case away from New York.
Sorry if I wasn't clear. That was a prediction. I do think he will be tried in federal court (for civil rights violations) so he can be executed.
Do you have any views of besides the usual laissaiz faire? That's the way they like it. Moi r > g Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic, regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.
I have relatives in Montreal and Ottawa and have vacationed in the marítimes. I love Nova Scotia, fresh fish and lobster, Winterlude, and I think Toronto is a great place to spend the weekend. I think the beer is way too expensive and I love the cheap meds. @Sally - I think NYS gets first crack at him, but the DA can cede jurisdiction if he thinks the feds will have an easier case. Even if NYS tries him and doesn’t get a conviction, the feds can still try him because the charge would be different(double jeopardy would not apply).
Very expanded here http://politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/is-it-true-part-deux.495478/ Moi r > g Make Pay Its' Fair Share !
As much as the death penalty would indeed be very appropriate to use in this case, I don't think what you described would set a very good Constitutional precedent.
