So I have this guy over to play music and he's pretty good, and very nice, but occasionally he blurts out things that you just don't say at other people's homes. Like he insulted this other friend right to his face by saying something about him that was objectively probably true. Next day we are out for a chat and he mentions his ADHD and his meds and goes on and on about it. Turns out he has classic symptoms of ADHD, which include everything he does to offend. I can tell he is a nice guy underneath. I'm torn between giving him a break versus getting rid of him. It's awkward because he has been working really hard to learn this music we play.
