Stop with the semantics bullshit. Forced, coerced whatever. I'm sure you are getting the gist.

Well, you can't carry your gun into the stadium and it seems you can't make a gesture intended to anger most of America either.

It has always been so. They and you are free to protest if you like.

Indeed. The NFL is well within their purview. This entire dumpster fire would have been long gone had trump not signaled his racist goons. This is my problem with the protest debate. If you can honestly say that you we're on the verge of a boycott before trump stuck his fat, retarded nose into the matter then good for you. I'd disagree but I would at least respect you. For the other 95% of "boycotters", who only became outraged after the dumbass in chief made his comments you should feel stupid. Take a good look in the mirror and realize how easily you are manipulated.

I don't think Trump influenced most people who were disgusted by these protests.

Pro football has seen it's glory days and they are not really secure enough to anger a large bloc of fans even if they see us as the Neanderthals liberals think we are. That there was some boycott and that it did hurt football is evidenced by owners making an attempt to smooth the issue out. Can it get worse? Of course it can.

Last time I checked.... this is a new rule about not being allowed to kneel.

You're kidding, right? Maybe link to something that shows that this wasn't just a blip on the radar before trump starting spouting his ignorant mouth.

How does this NOT scare the hell out of everyone?
Trump: NFL players who don't stand during National Anthem maybe 'shouldn't be in the country'

Since you can not play the game without the players and the networks and the owners can not earn a dime if the games are not play, I would suggest the players consider going on strike over the matter.

Take the seat in the back of the bus nonsense ended only when blacks stop riding the buses and almost drove the bus company into bankruptcy.

The United States president literally saying that people who don't stand for the NA shouldn't be in the country is just background noise?

Supreme Court? For what? Not being able to tell your boss you don't want to follow company rules? Here's a clue: the Constitution limits government, not corporations. If the NFL wants to make a rule that all players on the field have to march onto the field in uniform before every game and not just straggle out whenever they feel like it, that's their prerogative. If the NFL requires players to play by the rules, that's their prerogative. If they want all players on the field to stand for the National Anthem, that's their prerogative. Players can quit if they don't like the rules. Viewers can switch channels or stop buying team merchandise if they don't like the rules.

Seriously? Are you a basketball fan or just don't like football? You know that's never going to happen. This isn't about discriminating about race or religion. This is about players disrupting the game for political purposes.

I don't think there's a question about anything you've posted. I just want to know what any of that has to do with the product on the field. Does anyone care that Spacey is a homo child didler when they watch The Usual Suspects? When someone is providing YOU a service maybe you ought not really care about their politics. It's not like they are asking you to go get a beer after the game.

If the players that kneel offend you so much when they kneel for 2 minutes, why do you keep watching them?

I bet you didn't say that when Kim Davis was refusing to give Marraige Licenses to Homosexual couples in Kentucky.

It's the same reason players on the field can't hold up a sign saying "TRUMP IS A PRICK" or "**** PELOSI IN THE ASS". What does kneeling during the National Anthem have to do "with the product on the field"? It doesn't. What it does is politicize the product on the field...and that's bad for business. If player hates America and doesn't want to stand, they can stay in the locker room until the anthem is over.

LOL once more see what happen when poor blacks stop riding the buses for a few weeks to the bus company.

An yes it is about cases of unarmed blacks including children as young as 12 years old being gun down by the police and the courts are looking the other way time after time.

A little bit of more concern then being force to ride in the back of the bus.

Next when those black football players are off the field and are pull over by the police they are just big black men as far as the police are concern and at the same risk of harm or death by the police as any other black man.

Apples and oranges. The NFL is a private organization, they can make a rule that players can't moon the flag or grab their crotches when the other team comes out. You know their "poor sportsmanlike conduct" rules? Do you object to those?

OTOH, Davis was a sworn official for the government and had an obligation to carry out her lawful duties to the public.

LOL The race card from the Left. Surprise, surprise. Not.

First, why do you think every activity should be politicized with race politics? What does "Black Lives Matter" or "Occupy Wall Street" have to do with football?

Second, this isn't government, it's a private company. If they all players to kneel for race politics, would you equally support players kneeling for white pride? Trump? Some other political agenda? Or will you only support politicizing those things you support?

I really don't care if the NFL makes this rule because I never tuned into football to watch players stand for the Anthem. I simply tune in to watch football. The fact that asshats actually wanted to burn their gear and stop watching a sport they LOVE because players didn't stand for 2 minutes is ****ing comical. Let em go and burn their gear. Hell, donate that **** to people who could use it.
