Oh sure I'm trying to stir up hatred and resentment... Go see if you can find me advocating to limit people's freedom of choice with coercive mandates anywhere on this forum. If people are overly concerned about increasing authoritarianism, the fault is directly on those who keep advocating for and implimenting more and more authoritarianism. Its not unreasonable to expect them to continue doing what they are doing.

 

The point is that there is no evidence (and no good reason to assume) that anyone was engaging in authoritarianism here. Someone appears to have just misinterpreted (possibly intentionally) a perfectly reasonable safety policy at one hospital and suddenly loads of people are leaping in with all sorts of generic attacks and assertions.
