There''s a huge amount of hypocrisy, the Christchurch shooting is very sad, the teenage boy not wanting to be on his own really tugs the heart strings. But there are many other terror events equally sad, somehow none of the crocodile tears are on show. I've had leftwingers tell me South Africans deserve to die, people who are not merely shot and killed but tortured, raped and burnt to death or even sliced open with their guts hanging out while they are alive.... is "what goes around comes around".... completely heartless and now preaching to me about compassion and caring.

Same way posting about the NZ Shooter helps. People's lives are not worth less because they are black, Africa is just as far away from the yanks as we are yet theyve had wall to wall coverage of NZ. Why not this too? Racism is wrong. In the past week theyve shot dead 52 Christians. This is a tragedy on the scale of Christchurch, and it's getting next to no coverage. The only reason I can come up with is they want to cover it up to prevent retaliation like NZ or Utrecht.

You have been misinformed. This is a land use dispute between herders and farmers. Yes, the tribe of the herders are mostly Muslim, not all, and the farmers are mostly Christian, not all. To report this as Muslims killing Christians is false it would be like saying Christians bombed Shinto's at Hiroshima. Religion has no play in it.
