My kids and I are shareholders. We'll vote against it.

It’s not black people throwing a bitch fit over this, or the protest in general....

Then don't complain about resistance to the ad campaign.

Yes, didn't John Elway say that they offered Caep a deal, but Caep turned them down? This whole thing might be more carefully, more shrewdly, PLANNED by Crapernick than we realize.

That is false. Not only were we talking about the abuse of power by law enforcement before, progress was being made. Because he chose to disrespect the anthem, he actually distracted from his message. The fact that you call disrespecting those who gave all for our freedom an inconvenience, leads me to believe that you may not appreciate their sacrifice.

I don’t think of it as complaining, I think of it as calling out pseudo-righteous folks and mocking them.

Have you ever tried this pickup line in a bar: "yeah, I'm an owner of an NFL team."???

It's not all about race except to those obsessed with it. My half filipino sons disagree with you.

Yes, and normally Republicans SUPPORT the billionaire (P. Knight), but strangely not this time.

It isn’t? Hmm, look on social media quickly and take note of those complaining the loudest, and take note of who’s going out of their way to post pics of them destroying their own property to try and prove a point.

Because it is. Perhaps he can appear at military funerals and take a knee during while they play Taps. His timing puts him in the same category as the westboro baptist church protesters. They have the right to show who they are and I have the right not to watch.

Correct. Those are facts. And factually speaking it’s mostly white people complaining about this. Not black people.

You are wrong on several points here. About 40% of Millennials are Trump supporters and that number is increasing. Does an intelligent marketeer give 40% of an important group the finger? Second, among the younger groups a great many of them have their stuff bought for them by mom and dad. When the people with the gold say No Nike, there is no sale.

Nike has done well by tying their products to winners on the field. Kaepernick is a loser and divider. Kids buy Nike to be a winner like Jordan not a washout like Kaepernick.

Nike may see a short term jump in product sales. Libs will buy a pair just to show their disdain for Trump. However, this is short term. In the long run, the ones they pissed off will not buy and the libs will move on to another cause. Alienating any part of your market is a stupid strategy in any business.

The fact that anyone still wears those shitty shoes is mind boggling to me. I have never had a pair of Nikes that lasted more than 3 months meanwhile my New Balance shoes are going on 18 months for this pair and I have had them last up to 3 years, granted they weren't pretty but they didn't have any holes or tears in them. Nikes are **** shoes for morons.

Loss of 10% sales just like the NFL lost viewers for condoning it.

Maybe because most NB shoes are made in America while Nike uses Chinese slave labor.

We undertstand. Kap's stated reason is he blames the entire country for some bad cop shootings...

...."I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game.
