Are you not aware of the Southern Strategy? Both parties are guilty of a racist past. During the 1960's Republicans embraced the Southern Strategy while Democrats decided to move forward and embrace equality.

The Republicans used to be federalist. Wanting the federal government to have more power. That changed in the 20th century and the Republicans became anti-federalist. Remember President Lincoln who was a federalist? He believed in expansive powers of the federal government.

Both parties have evolved and have changed over time.

 

Here is something. The same is true of white people and any other race in the US. If you are ever shot statistics show it very likely will be someone of your own race. If you are white there is a little over an 8 in 10 chance if you are shot the person who shot you will be white.

A domestic terrorist is more likely to be a white male.

The real problem is poverty and education not race. If you do not believe me look at crime statistics of poor areas and countries.

Blacks are over represented when in comes to poverty and thus more are likely to commit crimes and get a poor education.

Take a look at poverty rates of blacks and whites. Then compare that to incarceration rates for whites and blacks.

I pointed out that in the US you are way more likely to be shot by someone of your own race. Very likely using the same original source the poster you used to point out that blacks are more likely to be shot by another black person.

The incarceration and poverty rates are readily available to anyone with the internet. You will see year after year if you take the number of people of a certain race that are incarcerated and divide by those of that race living in poverty it comes to about 4-5% regardless of race. Hispanic and blacks will have just about 1% more than whites depending on year.

If you want more evidence I suggest looking at crime rates from around the world and the US. You will see high poverty areas have more crime regardless of the race of the people living in these areas.

Whites are not superior or more prone to be law abiding than any other race.

Murders committed by blacks and whites, each year are pretty close in numbers.

However there are 5 times as many whites as there are blacks.

 

By far most people who are white are killed by people who are white. Rather much like black people. And the reason behind it is that the great melting pot is fake news. People who kill other people usually know their victim, and people in the US with different ethnicity simply hardly mix.

And figures don't lie.
Figures like white people deal and do equal to even more drugs than black people. But black people get convicted over this FAR more often. And when caught, a black person simply gets a longer sentence than a white person... even under the same circumstances. Them are the figures. And it's just getting childish to whine that racism doesn't play the massive roll in this. As if the ending of Jim Crow laws was THAT long ago. Please. A person like Trump fully enjoyed the legal apartheid era when in college.

So, it turns out that Emantic Bradford killed at the mall was shot in the back three times. So the police story of events have been unraveling. Not the shooter as claimed, was not brandishing a gun as claimed, was not a threat to the officers (don't know if claimed). Little doubt that had be been white he would not have been shot since there are reports that other people had guns drawn. The police are refusing to release bodycam footage but will have to when the case is investigated

 

When the call to 911 went out, was the shooter described as a white guy or black guy? Why would the cops shoot a white guy if they were looking for a black guy? That's like saying "no women were shot by cops even though they had guns drawn...". Of course they wouldn't have been shot, the shooter wasn't a woman.

 

What! So just shoot a random black guy in the back three times because a shooter is black? Perhaps you have links to random white guys being shot in the back when police receive reports of a white shooter?

 

I didn't say that, I was countering your line of questioning into why no white men or no women where shot even though they had weapons drawn. I am completely with trying and imprisoning the cop who shot the guy, but do you really have to ask why no white guys where shot?

 

That is the thread topic. No one has yet provided any links to innocent white "good guys with a gun" being shot by police but there were two innocent black "good guys with a gun" being shot by police in just two weeks

Completely different situation. The thread is about officers rushing to a scene and shooting black people but not shooting white people at a similar event. Your post refers to a controlled situation

Again, the cops wouldn't shoot a white guy in the mall for holding a gun cause the suspect called into 911 was black. It makes absolutely zero sense that the cops would have a suspicion about a white guy, or any woman, with a gun cause that wasn't what was reported to 911 as who shot up a shoe store. To those like you who only see this as a race thing instead of an idiotic cop thing, yes he should go to jail for being an idiot, you are the ones who keep dividing America further and further. It started with Michael Brown, and still is championed to this day, even though all evidence shows he rushed the cop, was responsible of the strong arm robbery, and fought the officer before being killed.

Ok? Its happened twice in 2 months. Out of how many encounters or situations like this? There are plenty of time where cops havent shot the black "good guy with a gun", but you and the rest of the dividers love to focus on the idiot cops over the many other great ones.

 

The real problem is the rejection of capitalism and individual rights coupled with the acceptance and worship of social democracy and the collective good.
