Data demonstrates Black people are not responsible with the 2nd Amendment Witness https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u....f_vicitm_by_race_and_sex_of_offender_2013.xls FBI statistics. Of every 10 Black people killed, 9 are killed by another Black person. And it isn't by knife, or choking or club . . . it is by gun. Rather than just deny it - researchers should pay attention to the common biochemical pathway of melanin and Adrenalin like brain transmitters. I mean they are so very close. At my best, I could take a big piece of butcher paper and in 2 hours map all the biochemical pathways, structures, names. Stop Being Anti Science Liberals and Study this Association as it may relate to behavior. Moi
He didn't go far enough. That "well regulated militia" was for quashing slave rebellions, not overthrowing the federal government. Why do you think armed insurrection and treason were the only crimes the Founding Fathers bothered to name in the Constitution?
WRONG. This is why we have firearm safety classes. Because if an officer sees you attempting to hide your fire arm you look suspicious. That's firearm safety 101. Don't give police a reason to assume your'e a threat. NEVER REACH FOR IT UNLESS ASKED TO. If you are carrying, you inform officer(s) immediately, and give them permission to inspect your weapon(s). Especially if you get pulled over. The first thing you say is "Sir, I am a legal firearm carrier, my weapon is in the trunk, unloaded, and in its proper case. Please feel free to run it"
A M-1 carbine uses a gas piston to operate the action cycle. AR's uses a small gas tube to operate the action. "AR" means that a rifle uses an ArmaLite action that has a gas tube, not a gas piston. Liberals use to and most still do think that "AR" stands for "assault rifle." But to be historically correct, liberals label any black scary looking rifle as being an AR or assault weapon. But it's politically incorrect to label any black scary man with a weapon as a potential threat.
If you read the article, you wouldn't wonder or ask those questions. It's pretty clear what happened.
And something like 9 out of 10 white people are killed by white people. White people kill more than black people. It's true that black people punch above their weight. Than again, black people are treated far more harshly in the US who is predominantly white.
Actually. Out of 20 shootings... 10 are from white people, 9 from black people. In the end, cops are more likely to be confronted by a white killer.
If blacks keep voting for democrat gun grabbers they will not have gun rights much longer whether they want them or not
They run your DL, they already know if you have a CCW. Actually no need to announce, just don't go digging in your glove box or arm rest, they get funky about that.
In many local elections back people are the majority and they always seem to vote to disarm themselves. Is this because black people think other black people cannot be trusted with firearms or do they think gun laws will prevent black criminals from owning guns?
Really? The man had the option to walk away. He had the option not to leave his truck. And now another man is dead, over...a...word?! In what world is that a rational act?
If they are in a majority in many places, than they would be in the majority overal. The fact is, they are in a majority in very very few places. Is that from some poll, or did you just made that up?
The point of my original story about the shooting is not about gun rights, it's about whether or not this officer behaved as Trevor suggested: A man was killed over his skin color because he had a gun. As the story is reported, in this instance, at first glance, Trevor has a point: Men with guns but the wrong skin color are perceived to be more dangerous than other men with guns with the right skin color. In the second story I posted, a man is killed over a word. In this instance, it was determined that a person of one color can kill another person of different color for using offensive language regarding skin color, as long as he has the right skin color. In both cases, the wrong skin color got a man killed. I submit, in the land of free, in the 21st century, that that is just bizarre. You don't judge individuals by their skin color, you judge them by their character. It's been over 50 yrs since "To Kill A Mocking Bird" was published, and Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" was told to a nation of free men, yet we are still living with the nightmarish results of racism, and still dreaming of an ideal that we have the ability to make real, "...life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness..." for each and every individual soul, no matter what. Ayn Rand: "Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism. It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man’s genetic lineage—the notion that a man’s intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry. Which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors. Racism claims that the content of a man’s mind (not his cognitive apparatus, but its content) is inherited; that a man’s convictions, values and character are determined before he is born, by physical factors beyond his control. This is the caveman’s version of the doctrine of innate ideas—or of inherited knowledge—which has been thoroughly refuted by philosophy and science. Racism is a doctrine of, by and for brutes. It is a barnyard or stock-farm version of collectivism, appropriate to a mentality that differentiates between various breeds of animals, but not between animals and men. Like every form of determinism, racism invalidates the specific attribute which distinguishes man from all other living species: his rational faculty. Racism negates two aspects of man’s life: reason and choice, or mind and morality, replacing them with chemical predestination." http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/racism.html It's time we stop being black men, and white men, and brown men, and red men, and yellow men, and any other kind of men but one--the only kind of men that really matter and who move the world toward a brighter, happier, and more prosperous tomorrow--free men.
Clearly "many places" does not mean most places. Wikipedia lists 19 cities that are over 50% black -- per the link below there is a list of counties that are mostly black. And I don't need a poll to theorize about why blacks support gun control. Statements (for example) by the NAACP claim that gun control will make "communities" safer, ergo many black people believe criminals will follow gun laws. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...African-American_majority_populations_in_2000
that is why I do not carry a gun, to a cop you can't win put it back in holster.... dead, keep holding it... dead, drop it and goes off... dead what was the right thing for this good guy with a gun to do in this situation when cell phone cases that looked like guns came out, cops basically admitted this put you in danger as they would think it was a gun by mistake remember, a cop doesn't have to be in real danger, only believe they are in danger in order to kill a person they think has a gun
The Republican governor's response was to enthusiastically sign it. Kinda makes her point, doesn't it? Groups of armed black men exercising their God-given constitutional rights = white legislators and governors panicking and taking action to stop it, no matter who else they eff over in the process. Thank you for providing historical evidence of that...
You did not look at the statistics did you? Honestly. Do tell. It is evident via the link provided above. Why would anyone bother to read @notme with such credibility? The correct answer is, 8.3, not 9 out of ten. And give grants to look into the association of more Melanin to this or that. And less too. Y'all heard of L-DOPA for Parkinson's? On the brain side it feeds into the Adrenalin pathway. On the skin side it feeds into the Melanin pathway. Now that is pretty darned associated for biochemical pathways. Put some academic study into it. Or is some afraid of the truth? @notme When in school was your last life science class? Junior High. High School, beyond . . . Moi
that makes in a very few places. 19 cities on the whole of the US aint "many" by a long shot. I was commenting specifically on the "black people think other black people cannot be trusted". I dunno where that came from. And criminals won't follow gun laws. Than again,... it's not always the criminal that shoots. Could be just a child with no clue playing around, blowing the brains out of some other kid... because them guns are all over the place. Or a child that takes a weapon from his parents over to school.... can't happen if his parents don't have guns.
Should we fund a study into whether there's a genetic marker for white men not being able to dance and having tiny peeners? We could use IQ45 as a test subject.
Good lord... you're nitpicking about 0.7% difference. lol Oh yeah... you really made a strong case with your 9 out 10 black people. not.
