Didn't watch the game and only found out this morning who won. I think football may have lost me for life like major leage baseball did when they went on strike for the World Series.

Instead of watching yesterday's game I spent much of the day colorizing an old historic black and white photo from my home town and George Washington Bridge.

Do I care that no players took a knee yesterday? No. They did it all year and something like that only has to be done once for me to know where the players and NFL stood.

By the way, your way of thinking works both ways -- I think the resilience of our great country was proven when we were able to survive 8 years of Obama (and I even voted for Obama in 2008.)

My girflriend and I had a bet going (she is a Republican and I am an Independent) so we were just dying to see what was going to happen.

As a business owner, my BIGGEST drop was in 2008/2009 and I lost approximately 14.1% in totally revue due to the housing cash. We FREAKING OUT that year, that was a HUGE drop.

If the NFL saw a 16% decline? Oh dear lord, you can bet your butt there are hundreds if not thousands of people who depend on the NFL for cash who are freaking out. 16% delin? ..... 16% DECLINE!!!!? Wow....

Anyways I told her that there was no way the NFL would allowed any player to stand and she being a hard Republican said she expected to see a few. I was right (got a nice .... let's just say she was forced to make my kickoff more of a "release" than even the players had.
