Adam Schiff will not allow the Republicans to call the whistle blower to testify about Trump at the poorly named Intelligence Committee. The point person who triggered the impeachment charge of the week -- the quid ??? quo of Trump it seems has nothing to say. Schiff says that with all the other hearsay and opinions (he calls it evidence, though) they have, the whistle blower's, the person who started it all with his complaint, testimony would be redundant. In other words Schiff has all he needs and credible testimony is a waste of everyone's time..... well at least his time.

Maybe the Republicans could do better by calling Schiff himself. After all he probably coached the whistle blower on his complaint. Anybody think Schiff will let the Republicans call Schiff himself???? LOL :roflol:

    Sounds GOOD.

If the GOP was so worried about something like this happening then they should have done a better job at retaining The House.

As of now, it is just Partisan Whining and Sour Grapes.:salute:

This is no different from any other investigation that may have sequential legal significance in a courtroom or other public proceeding..
Are you really not able to figure out why cops might have anonymous tip lines and then protect those sources/ informants from court proceedings by using other sources to prove the elements of a crime? Really. You need to be taught this? Because the point is to get people to come forward, and through subsequent investigation, build a case that makes their testimony redundant and unnecessary. So that you can get people to keep using the anonymous tipster line again and you can investigate and prosecute more cases than otherwise.

This committee is an intelligence committee, who end up having intelligence briefings provided by the FBI or CIA often acquiring a host of covert human resources that they need to protect and manage for long term access. This same reasoning might give you some insight here. I think my preteen l kids figured out what happens to your trust factor on the playground when you narc out, squeal, or otherwise compromise your word.

If they do vote to impeach Trump & the trial goes to the senate, Adam Schiff has no control over who testifies.

    The republicans can call...
    The Whistleblower - Eric Ciaramella
    Hunter Biden
    And Adam “shyt Head” Schiff.

I enjoy typing the whistleblowers name.

Interesting post but completely orthogonal. 1. Giving the police a tip is a million miles from trying to impeach the president of the US. 2. None of Schiff's witnesses would be allowed within miles of a criminal courthouse. Justice gives no credence to hearsay and not much more to opinion and seldom lets either testify.

    Who cares?

In the House the Dems have CONTROL.

They can do whatever they want.

Sort of how the GOP Senate had control and stole a SCOTUS Seat.

    Funny how that works.

Those with Power, make the Rules. :salute:

Multiple people, including the president, have confirmed the whistleblower’s report. Seems a moot point to call him or her.

Wait a minute, when the right complains about the fairness of this farce the left says it's not a court of law and doesn't need the rules of one. Now you're citing what happens in a court of law as an example? The left seems to be doing everything they can to make this who escapade a total joke.

Anyway, no whistle blower, no senate. Schiff wants to make his own rules, then so can Graham.

That's true. But it does not mitigate the evil of the House's Soviet style inquiry.

Let’s be real. The president could finger a dead hamster on TV and senate republicans would golf clap.

    So what?

Once it gets to The Senate, Graham is free to do whatever he wants.

(Regardless of how much of an IDIOT that he looks like).

There was never a realistic chance of getting the votes in The Senate anyway, so who even cares if a Partisan MORON (like Lindsay Graham) says it is DOA?

The GOP seems to be getting Really FRUSTRATED Dealing with the Constitutional Concept of "Separation of Powers".

It is an absolute JOY watching Graham (and the rest of Trump's GOP) Implode over not having House Control.

Tl;Dr--Graham's INFANTILE Tantrum won't change a thing, and the Whistleblower WON'T testify before the House.

    End of story. :salute:

What is the point of having the whistleblower who CLEARLY stated everything he reported was second hand information but which has now been 100% corroborated by those who witnessed it in person.Every detail of he or she's complaint has been more than proven absolutely correct.

Schiff may have won the battle, but he will lose the war if the whistleblower does not testify.

Schiff has zero power over the senate & Lindsay Graham said that the impeachment will be dead on arrival in the senate if the whistleblower does not testify.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fo...enate-dem-prevent-whistleblower-testimony.amp

This whole mess is partisan politics & Trump will be vindicated in the senate trial unless 19
    Republican senators flip.

There are a few Rino’s, but other than these 3, I don’t see anyone else turning on the republicans.

    Romney
    Collins
    Murkowski

    Obviously there is NO Point.

Is there really ANY Point to anything that the GOP Members of the House have been doing (in regards to this matter)?

    Yeah. We already heard.

That was posted about 15 minutes ago in Post #10 (above).

You can find my detailed response in Post #16

In any event, Lindsay's infantile tantrum won't matter.

Reddit user with the best analogy over this whistleblower attack

"Imagine a gang of robbers engaged in a late-night armed take-over of a convenience store being caught by a squad of police in the midst of rifling the till and collecting wallets. The witnesses all tell a consistent story, including some of the gang members who hope to be let off lightly. But the ringleader's defense relies on attacking the passerby who called 911, suggesting that he must have been up to no good to be out so late, and that no crime actually occurred, especially since the robbery was foiled.

"Look at the tape," the gang boss says, referring to the video of him sticking a pistol into the face of the store clerk. "Notice how agreeable the clerk was. This was a perfect conversation."

"Who we really should be looking at is the snitch who called 911. I understand that he saw people with their hands up and mouthing words of distress through the windows. Who was he talking with? He is the real culprit, stalking me until he found an opportunity to make up a totally false story about an armed robbery. NO ARMED ROBBERY. He deserves to be in prison, or worse. Let's make an example of him so if anyone else is thinking of ratting me out, he'll think twice."

A impeachment vote is never going to make it to the house floor let alone be sent over the the Senate. Because of that, Pelosi, Schiff, Nadiler, the MSM and others can write the narrative as they see fit. Biden and Waren can't be trump, nor he is going to be impeached let alone removed from office. Any one with a brain can see that. So they need to keep the issue going and plant the idea that he is guilty and this and that so that Biden or Warren can get in.
