He testified that Trump told him personally (that's first hand for all you legality challenged people) and succinctly, "I want nothing. There is no quid pro quo........" He did testify that he presumed there was a quid pro quo between the white house meeting and the investigations into the 2016 election and Burisma, which explicitly did not include Biden. Then, of course Ukraine got the meeting and the military aid without doing one thing toward any investigation.

Only 30% are conservative. The GOP almost never wins the popular vote. Hillary had the largest popular vote in US history. These three facts are good things.
I don't know where you may or may not watch the testimony. I watched on C-SPAN, no interruptions, no commentary, just facts. Sondland took two bites of the "He didn't do nothin'" apple then his attorney suggest "times up." His final word on the matter was, "Yup, he did it and there was dollars for dirt (on Biden) involved." I don't know what to tell ya', I practically fell off my recliner when Sondland spilled the beans. Trump's tweets will either go into overdrive or go dark. Once he stops chewing on the Oval Office carpet and stands up again, I guess we'll see.
The only reason the GOP wins the EC is because you guys are spread among sparsely populated states. Wyoming has about 600,000 people, whereas NYC alone has several million people. We could easily transplant people from NY and overtake the GOP stronghold on America without losing ground. But that's not even the point. The point is that your ideology is fading. Fewer and fewer people identify as Republican. You can't sustain it forever.

If there is an actual Impeachment Trial, the whistleblower will have to appear. Otherwise, Roberts will have a Constitutional crisis on his hands.
That's why I doubt Congress will impeach. Pelosi will later pretend to take the high road claiming that despite the grounds for impeachment being established they don't want to put the country through any further ordeals. The Senate would love to get Schiff and the Whistle Blower to testify under oath but Pelosi must recognize that would be a disaster. She should quit while she's even.
