I am discussing the topic, or at least one of them, that you have in your OP and your thread title.

It appears bigotry is universal, in regards to there being groups who hate just about every other group on this planet.

Exceptions to the rule, doesn't change the rule.

    Indeed, exceptions.

There seems to be a small minority (pun fully intended) out of every racial demographic that will maintain a level of bigotry. Whites, blacks, Asians, Hispanics all seem to have a faction that hates solely based on facial features and melanin content.

Thank you, I have been having a fab day so far.

Indeed, when referencing the FBI's hate crime statistics, it would appear Asians and pacific islanders represent 3.7% of the victims.

A very far cry indeed form your claim that "nobody has extreme hate for south east Asians".

Nobody hates because of melanin. Only an idiot would think that and only an idiot would question why it's impossible to converse with someone who would think that.

Sarcasm is difficult to portray on a forum like this. I've really got to start using more emoticons.

    It was a rhetorical question.

    Sorry to upset you......:sun:

Oh, my bad. Yeah, if you would've used emoticons, I would've got it. I'm sorry too. [IMG]

Actually Asians have a pecking order, with Japan on the top, and the south islanders on the bottom.

I am sure you realize you do not speak for all racists. Although you have excellent racist reasons for disliking a certain race, others have their own reasons for disliking a race. I’ve heard of African Americans disliking Koreans because the only Koreans they know are unfriendly suspicious shop keepers. So, in other words I do not think your theory holds. You are blaming the victim of your racism for racism. Racism is more a lack of empathy and real world experience in my opinion.

Racism is a combination of cowardice and ignorance. Maturity and familiarity can go a long way to alleviating the condition.

I don't know that cowardice is the right word. It implies spinelessness and that's not it. It is more of fear of the "other" and when these people feel threatened the urge to protect themselves turns to hate, avoidance and possible violence.

That's exactly what cowardice is. Lashing out in fear is still cowardly even if others are hurt.

Nope. You seem to be stuck on a word. Cowardice implies timidity and spinelessness. A racist's aggressive behavior may be out of fear but it is not out of cowardice.
Humans are tribal and the more conservative the more tribal. People outside the given tribe are viewed with suspicion, are considered a possible threat and viewed as people who break (their) rules. All of that adds up to "fear of the other".

Anyone who lives and acts out of fear is a coward.

Just as I thought. Judging by your past posts this is play time to you where you like to massage your ego. You seem to be incapable of having a real dialogue.

What do you want to have a dialogue about? Your misunderstanding of race and cowardice?

Superficial, with no counterargument. In other words, a waste of time.

I think one of the number one reason women supporting Muslims with black communities particularly among black veterans is that the enslaved black people still to this day and have been doing so for 14 centuries.
