No country can withstand the nuking of 3 of their biggest cities, and most could not withstand ONE such nuking. More spent on miltary is just bs. the nuke missle subs, coast guard and national guard is all we need for DEFENSE. The rest is used for evil attacks on other countries (or threats of doing so).
