Funny how Donald suddenly bad-mouthed Sessions - before you know it the reality show host will claim he hardly knew Sessions....

The Russians dripping information is one thing; but trump is getting ready to fire Mueller because he is getting too close to the truth about how corrupt, and what a gangster he is. You surely still cant' think that this is a "witchhunt" . I suspect that what they will find if the investigation is not obstructed by the Trumps is that they are a family of thieves, liars, and gangsters.

 

I note the qualifying 'if true' - you know it isn't true as well as I do.

 

Sessions discussions not very meaningful and not enough to attack his character. Maybe Trump trying to throw Sessions under bus so he can dismiss Mueller but talking about policies important to Russia is not really talking about the actual campaign. Another way to look at it is if Joe Biden had briefly talked to the Russian ambassador in 2012 about 1 or 2 issues important to Russia is that talking about the 2012 campaign. I really don't think so. Campaign talk is about how to win elections like which states to focus resources on, what advertisements to run, et cetera.

 

It might also "easily be" that Trump's Russian confidantes are helping Trump get rid of Sessions so he can appoint another AG who will fire Mueller. Those financial records, including tax returns of Trump and his family, that Mueller is now perusing quite possibly show that Trump is nothing but a money laundering criminal, which is why Trump refuses to release his tax returns. I fear we quite possibly have an ignorant, treasonous gangster sitting in the white house. How ignorant and arrogant do you have to be to run for president when your past includes corrupt business practices like multiple bankruptcies, the stiffing of his workers, hypocrisy over "Made In America", possibly money laundering, and ties to organized crime and criminal oligarchs from Russia.

I am center right, but I think that betting your future on a man like Trump, a man who you know damn well to be a crook and liar, not to mention ADD, was the most jaw-droppingly stupid thing the right has ever done. I lament over the extinction of our race and culture, but I am embarrassed that my fellow lamenters fell for Trump's rhetoric . As our country turns into a corrupt third world hell-hole, and our culture is dying, I appreciate your desire to vote in someone who says he sympathizes with you; but couldn't you tell that he was a bumbling, lying, populist. He is a silly man devoid of the skills necessary to be the President of the United States, and is an embarrassment to the country?

 

Sessions is definitely being thrown under the bus, along with his long career as a politician, so the Trump gang can install someone who will fire Mueller. It is obstruction of justice--plain and simple.

In other words it completely clears Trump of any wrongdoing..... Lest we forget that Sessions discussed future policies of Trump administration towards Russia which is entirely different from discussing Trump campaign.

 

After reading all the posts for the last year, and not seeing a scintilla of corruption or unlawfulness, I now know where the phrase "Hope springs eternal" comes from. Once it becomes positively clear that there is no evidence for conviction and further pursuit do you guys leave the forum?

Trump should fire Mueller as he is well within his rights. A special prosecutor is to be appointed if a crime has been committed. No crime was committed. Does not anyone read the law anymore?
