That is what Fancy Pants and his farting-through-silk grifters will tell their paranoid dupes, of course, but some are finally realizing that they have been victims of a scam. Ending 2018 $10.8 million dollars in the ruby red while increasing travel and entertainment costs and slashing gun safety and marksmanship programs? Only the most incorrigibly-indoctrinated stooges will deny they have been fleeced. The internal financial reports and ensuing panic don't lie. Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize.
You may well be very, very upset that the scam being pulled by Fancy Pants and his pampered toffs has been exposed, but the scandal is likely to empower the American people to make progress in enacting sensible measures to protect themselves from the obscene level of firearm slaughter in America. So? Those other countries don't have freedoms like we do. Freedom has a price. I'm not giving up my guns for anybody.
I'm sure all those dead Americans are giddy over their freedom to be shot to death. No constitutional right is absolute. All are circumscribed by the rights of others. Meanwhile, the scam by which Fancy Pants LaP & Co. have promoted paranoia and scared the bejesus out of the emotionally gun-dependent, fleecing them silly, continues to collapse: "The only way to stop a bad guy with crappy threads is a chichi guy with an unlimited wardrobe budget." Stat tuned! Ackerman McQueen is now reportedly “working on an independent documentary called ‘Inside the NRA!’”
I guess the NRA is going to have to rely on their next cash infusion from Putin and his buddies...and a way to hide that
NRA Suspends Chief Lobbyist For Alleged Coup Plot Against LaPierre https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/nra-suspends-chris-cox-lobbyist-coup-lapierre The circular firing squad at the National Rifle Association claimed another victim on Thursday, as the gun rights group suspended its chief lobbyist for his alleged involvement in a failed coup attempt against NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre. As the New York Times reported, the accusation against Chris Cox was made in a lawsuit the NRA filed Wednesday in New York State Supreme Court against the NRA’s erstwhile president Oliver North.
If that's the case, then why do mass shootings happen at "gun free zones". Why don't mass shootings ever happen at a gun show, gun range, or gun store where guns and ammo are most prevalent???
No myth at all, does that fact say it has to be a armed citizen? I could be shrewd and say cops are also armed citizens, but whether they be cops or an armed "civilian", both groups are good guys with a gun. We all know there are examples of civilians stopping active shooters https://reason.com/2018/05/14/civilians-with-guns-intervening-in-activ and I believe I read that there has been no armed civilians shot by active shooters. Does your "fact" say that with so many active shooter situations being in gun free zones, very few civilians will have a gun close by?
The prospect of a crowd of drunk 'n druggy nervous nellie, quick draw "good guys" all whippin' out their shooties and firin' away at the sound of a klieg light poppin' makes for a memorable nightclub experience, indeed! The reality is that the trough has run dry, and Americans are soon to see representative democracy restored.
17 million people with concealed carry permits, where are all the shootouts? Where is all the blood running in the streets from these people? Nothing but Lefty fear mongering. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concealed_carry_in_the_United_States The NRA at most gives a couple thousand to certain politicians. If it was that easy to buy a politician, I'd like to buy a few myself. In reality the politicians know how effective the NRA is in energizing their base when gun banners start getting traction and they fear getting tossed out of office. They saw what happened before and blame the NRA in order to silence those they disagree with. SOP for Lefties.
Second Amendment rights are not endangered by the myriad scandals currently tearing apart the corrupt NRA. However, the exposure of the scam it has been running, inducing paranoia to fleece its members for personal lavish lifestyles, etc., will improve the prospects for Americans being better able to protect themselves and their families from the firearm carnage to which they have been subjected by the permissiveness the NRA, in service to gun manufacturers, has promoted. Those "lefties" (that requisite, demonized, contrived "other") that fester in some noggin aside, despite the aberrant notion of ubiquitous, dead-eye "good guys" blowing away all those nasty, aim-impaired "bad guys", guns everywhere is a proven failed policy. The empirical data blows away the fake delusion. Harmless gun fanciers need not wee wee their frillies over the prospect of big, bad "liberals" snatching their precious shooties away from them. The American people are, in the majority, sensible folks and the democratic will should not be feared:
If you would turn your attention to the democratic party's scandals and plots, you would have a thousand times more material to work with. But then- that 's different, right? The NRA is always under attack, just as the second amendment is- because there are always people failing the test of life, failing to see beyond their emotions and discover responsibility.
"Oh, yeah! Well, what about ...?" Such hyper-partisan diversions from a thread's topic fail. Appropriate threads can be initiated to address divergent concerns. Meanwhile, as a matter of national unity, the American public's opportunity to overcome the tyranny of powerful special interests and assert the democratic will is being enhanced.
The vast majority of gun deaths happen in Democratic controlled cities where one gang thug shoots another gang thug. That's not the guns fault.
