And why does she need to do that?? The NRA cannot be indicted...

Everything with you is criminal charges... it's a little repetitive...

She is pursuing the NRA, not the four perps.

What evidence does she have against the actual organization. Maybe I missed it but it appears to me the problem is four individuals who do paid work for the organization and who are alleged to have taken more then they were entitled to. There is a 76 member board of directors, are they all supposed to have participated in helping these four individuals?

Now if turns out that Wayne La Pierre is a cross dressing transvestite suffering from OCD fascination withclothing, then that qualifies him protection from the LGBTQ leftwing. The media and the Marxist Left will immediately forgive La Pierre’s personal spending as due to other racist members of the NRA and not his fault

This is stupid, not cute and insightful. It reminds one of propagandists like Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Savage, and their ilk.

Biden has not said how he would lead a national effort to contain the virus.

We'll see what evidence she has. Her motives are irrelevant.

The "how" isn't as important as his general agreement with the concept...

This is about his plans to fight COVID and he simply plagerized Trump as he likes to do instead of coming up with his own. And he is to stupid to realize they have all been done.

The motives of a prosecutor are completely relevant.

Except it is the "how" that Biden beats the crap out of Trump with.

The motives only become relevant if the evidence is not there. If you have evidence of wrongdoing and your job is to prosecute wrongdoing, the evidence and your job is your motive.

That said, this is not the way to get rid of the NRA. Asking for it to be dissolved is asinine.

Right. I don't like child molesters, but that wouldn't stop me from prosecuting them.
While I tend to agree, if the NRA is violating the law and dissolving it is the legal remedy, so be it.

Except as far as I know the NY AG did not present any evidence of any illegalities. She only presented evidence of some of the reasons she does not like the NRA, and that strikes of totally inappropriate motives.

She'll present the evidence in the courtroom. She's not required to disclose it to the media.

I don't know what she has or doesn't have, but I don't think any of it warrants asking for the NRA to be dissolved. That's the part that smacks of politics and ill motive. Somebody unbiased would want the leadership changed or something along those lines, because that's a person who realizes you can't get rid of opinions you don't like by trying to use the law to dissolve organizations.

No, they aren't. We make the laws and we're entitled to expect prosecutors will enforce them.

I think drug laws are absurd, but I would enforce them.

I don't care for child molesters, but my dislike wouldn't stop me from prosecuting.

True on both counts. She must feel there is enough evidence. I would agree about her motives with reference to the case. While she may or may not like the NRA, if a crime has been committed I would believe she has a right to prosecute. That being said it still seems strange to me to condemn the entire organization for the acts of a few. The criminal acts were not committed to gain something for the organization but rather were committed against the members. All members should want these guys removed.
Again is the entire NRA violating the law or just some members or employees? I am a member of the NRA. If I was to commit a crime while representing the organization should that be a reason to disband the entire 5.5 million members?
