Aren't the people who voted to reelect the President "we the people" also?

    You have it backwards.

Obama is not threatening to harm the country if his political demands which he could not achieve through legitimate means are not met. Obama would sign a funding bill tomorrow to fund all legitimately passed government programs and systems.

It is the Tea Party Republicans threatening to harm the country if their political demands, which they cannot achieve through legitimate means, are not met.

It's what terrorists do, because they cannot achieve their political goals through legitimate means. Real Americans should be appalled at a group willing to harm our nation our nation and hold it for ransom in this manner.

The key is that 13% part, unfortunately they're not "included" in the major "yes/no" sections(In other words, their opinion do not fit solidly in line with a yes or no answer regarding who's a child). I, in the interest of intellectual truth would add them to that 36%.

Which means that 49% of Americans would blame the President in at least some form for Obamacare. Sounds right, when we look at the polls surrounding the Obamacare law itself.

You really need to stop listening to the likes of Ed Schultz and Dan Pfeiffer. He called the opposition terrorists. If that is the way that the Dem's talk about the other side of the isle, I'm glad I'm not a democrat. That is disgusting and anyone else who spouts that rhetoric.

I'm happy to use another term if one is available. What would *you* call someone who threatens to damage the economy unless they get their way?

You really need to stop fabricating facts about things you know nothing about. It shows. I don't even know who Dan Pfeiffer is, and I rarely listen to Ed Schultz.

I called them terrorists, because threatening harm and destruction if your political demands, which you cannot achieve by legitimate means, are not met, is exactly what terrorists do.

    What's the difference?

Coming from the person comparing our President to Stalin in his signature... can't write better comedy than this.

See the bolded part. House conservatives do not get to unilaterally decide that Obamacare "is not ready for prime time", and then attempt to force that decision down the Senate's throat by threatening to damage the economy if the Senate doesn't cave.

Especially when these same House conservatives have been doing everything else in their power to sabotage the implementation of Obamacare to ensure it is "not ready for prime time."

Want to defund Obamacare? No problem. Work through legitimate means to make that happen.

Threaten to damage the economy if you don't get your way? Terrorism. Unless you have a different word for it.

No. Threatening harm and damage if their political demands, which they cannot achieve by legitimate means, are not met, is the kind of things that terrorist do.

Obama is willing to shut down the government if he does not get what he wants.

Obamacare is already law. Passed by Congress, signed by the President, and upheld by the conservative dominated Supreme Court. Obama isn't demanding anything.

It's the Tea Party Republicans who are threatening harm and damage if their political demands, which they cannot achieve by legitimate means, are not met.

Obamacare was passed when folks were still drinking the liberal kool aid. Now even labor unions don't want it. There isn't a law passed that should be beyond appeal.

He's demanding to keep the parts of the law that he likes while he delays the parts that are politically damaging to him.

Then they can elect representatives in the Senate and WH and repeal it. The legitimate way.

Yet Obama is only obeying the parts of it he likes and delaying the rest.

Repubs want to give all Americans the same amnesty Obama's friends are getting.

Where is Obama disobeying the law? Please show the law and what you claim he is doing. Thanks.

Well maybe he should have spent more time on something that didn't require bribing certain members of congress for their vote, making a bill so large that it couldn't be read before it was passed, and always passing the blame on everyone but him. He's had five years in office to more then just a controversial healthcare bill and all he's done is squander it and whine.

So far no one has refused to vote so your point is moot.

You know what, you're right. I don't have one saying that they won't. I'm just going by past experience of them not compromosing on a single issue while demanding republicans to give in to their demands instead.

First the republicans need to make sure people remember who tried to stop the healthcare trainwreck. The democrats are falling for it. They own Obamacare. This law will cause more problems than the 2008 financial meltdown. It's people's health the dem's are playing with. The republicans need to distance themselves from this law and that is what they are doing.

What are they negotiating on? If they're not working or willing to find a solution then they're obstructing.

Or the dems can change theirs. See how this works? How about this, maybe they should all grow up, start doing what's best for this country instead of themselves and we actually hold our leaders and parties accountable. The attitude change needs to start with us.

Having voted against Obamacare down the line and voted, what, 43 times to repeal it, I don't think there is any question in most people's minds about the Republican view on Obamacare.

But what they are doing is threatening to harm the economy if their political demands, which they cannot achieve through legitimate means, are not met. That is what terrorists do.

    - - - Updated - - -

They already did that when they passed the law. There is nothing they need to negotiate again.
