These are hard to spend in Thornton Heath (my neighbourhood in South London), you get told to either go to a bank or post office and come back with GBP £ - so these can be worked with in Thornton Heath. - I've seen Scottish people visiting Thornton Heath among friends privately getting these converted to £GBP because they thought they could spend these everywhere and wanted some food from down the bottom of the road at gone midnight.. So, some friendly advise.. If you're coming to a place that's not a tourist hot spot, but is also in London, change your money before because in my neighbourhood, only banks and post offices take Scottish Pounds, IDK if Scottish Pounds have the £ symbol? - I know Ireland did pre Euro on their punce. ...
