One big issue this Charlottesville event clarifies forever.

Most everyone on both sides agree that Nazis are fascists and the Nazis in Charlottesville were right wing extremists.

Most every one on both sides agree that Antifa is of the left and they confronted the Nazis along with others on the left.

So it is now clear, and no one can ever again credibly argue, that fascism is not a right wing phenomenon. We saw it. We witnessed the two sides fighting. We witnessed the right, even here on this forum, defending the Nazi white supremacists and opposing the leftist Antifa. And we saw leftists, even here on this forum, opposing the Nazi white supremacists and defending those who opposed them including Heather Heyer and Antifa.

The lines have been drawn and it is all very clear now for everyone.

 

Fascism can be a good thing.

 

Only fascists agree with that.

 

And fascists can be good people, too.

 

And only fascists agree with that. Fascism is a dominant, overwhelming evil. Kindness to kittens doesn't compensate for it.

 

So you are one the side of Antifa violence and anti-free speech. Got it. Some of us are not on the side of any violence but do stand for American values like free speech.

Indeed, what Charlottesville clarifies forever, is that the vast majority of the nation is too emotionally immature to be making decisions. In the words of the President: SAD.

 

You saw marches and riots, you didn't see any govt. in action from the protesters, so it's hard to say if they be fascists..They do have dorky outfits, but that's just my opinion..
