Just took two of my cats in to have their nails clip and the first one there was no problem however.......

After a short time the head tech came back to informed me that they could not clip the second cat nails until the vet is there so they could give her calming drugs.

I ask if I could help them but for some reason they fear losing a finger or two as she had put on such a display that they could not even get her out of her cat carrier!

The damn cat was not at all upset when they return her an in fact she seem please with herself.

While as her human I am somewhat impressed that she could win such a battle of wills with train vet techs it still annoying that I am going to need to drive back down tomorrow to get the girl nails done.

Told her that she was not going to win this battle even if I will need to shove a pill down her throat myself.

Cats I couldn't imagine how to handle except for drugs. Nice thing with dogs is that you can just slip on a muzzle.
We just got a 6 month pup about three weeks ago.. she's been showing signs of urinary track infection.
This morning took her into vet, a new experience for her as her shots were done in a pet store. $102 visit which seems like a pretty big chunk when you have more money going out then coming in.
