I see. Give it another day or two alexa, and given the bloody feud between Fatah and Hamas, something on a larger scale is bound to happen, which may make the papers.

People may have heard Natalie Portman has refused to accept a prise she won in Israel.
    https://www.juancole.com/2018/04/natalie-portman-netanyahu.html

Originally this had her name aligned with BDS though she apparently is strongly against it. This resulted in her coming out with the real reason

    https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/.pr...s-to-genesis-prize-boycott-backlash-1.6013482

Portman is a Jew with Israeli citizenship. It was expected that this would result in her being called an antisemite as everyone who criticises Israel is Jew or not and we began to see the beginnings of this
    https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news...hu-boycott-borders-on-anti-semitism-1.6014423

There is now a call to remove her citizenship due to her being upset about Israel's actions on the people of Gaza which she finds goes against her Jewish values.

Calls for stripping Natalie Portman of Israel Citizenship for criticizing Shooting Palestinian Protesters

Your propaganda piece has no source. Well done though you did get me feeling the need to answer. Using a child's murder in this way is disgusting.

    Dear Gazans !!
Keep marching just turn left towards the sea.
It worked great in the past to the Jews when they escaped from Egypt.

If values have now become so unknown to Israel's supporters right or wrong that they are considered a toy...

Many many times I have heard Jews who are critical of Israel stating as their reason that it goes against Jewish values and that not infrequently stands beside a strong care for Israel as with Natalie Portman. This democratic right and indeed responsibility is something that is becoming attacked in today's world where whether in the US or in Israel and now beginning in the UK, being critical of your countries actions is being attacked as being against your country whereas the very strength of democracy and free speech is that those who care about their country have the right, the responsibility, to speak up when things are wrong because they care and by this bring it back on course rather than in authoritarian and fascist societies where criticism of the Status Quo is not acceptable and results in punishment.

Poor Palestinian people and cruel Israel. The funds they are getting from Europeans and Arabs countries they invest in building Qassam rockets to shoot on Israeli towns – and cruel Israel destroys these rockets with Iron Dome. They invest money to build attack tunnels into Israel – and cruel Israel destroy these tunnels.

But now Palestinians people found the way – they send innocent civilians to destroy the border fence – and cruel Israel is shooting at them.

To show Israeli cruelty let me show this: after burning thousands of tires Israel refuses to send them new tires:

    https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/...try-complains-israel-wont-give-us-more-tires/

If you want to help Palestinian people – please cut down the Gharqad tree.

    From Hamas Charter:

“The Prophet, Allah's prayer and peace be upon him, says: "The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: 'Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,' except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews."

    Allah Akbar!

"peaceful protesters" should stay away from the border and protest in the city square, trying to break into Israel is not peaceful.

The only justified course of action for an Israeli soldier is to lay down their weapons and go home.

It is against all law to target and kill unarmed protesters including 14 year old boys who sneak away from their Mum's.

The people of Gaza are involved in a peaceful protest. They have keys to the homes their families were forced to leave as Israelis took them over. Gaza is no longer fit for life. 95% of water is undrinkable following both Israel's destruction of their one power plant and the reality that they only get about 3 hours electricity a day, Because they do not have the electricity they cannot look after people in intensive care or do many operations. Because of this people die. The people of Gaza are dying and they know it. What they are not going to do is die silently.

This is their response to the murder of their people - and killing unarmed protesters is murder.

    http://maannews.com/Content.aspx?id=780043

They are moving closer to the Fence which marks their homeland which they were ethnically cleansed from. If they die, they will die at home.

Another Palestinian shot by Israeli snipers on Friday has died of his wounds.

Specifically to this case, Gazans are trying to break into Israel while Israeli soldiers trying to stop them, so they are "home".

And if they cross they will die in Israel, I don't see how that is peaceful, I also reject the concentration camp nonsense, they are "protesting" against normalization, its like comparing a starving man and someone on hunger strike.

It was Palestine first. It was their home first. The Israeli Jews can stay, but they have no right to govern solely for themselves

You mean it was British once, yes it was but they took off and the land to be distributed was taken in hostile actions, there never was an agreement on who gets what, if you consider all Israel to be Arab then I will direct you to someone who thinks its all Jewish and you two can have a blast.

Their home long before Israel and if Israel does not get her act together long after Israel
    https://972mag.com/are-israeli-jews-beginning-to-accept-the-right-of-return/134788/

You have a problem being reminded of what your people did.

They are certainly intending on coming right up to the fence where they were forced to leave and never allowed to return though they have the legal right to do that. Israel of course did kill many who returned. Now these are the kind of issues where Israel needs to learn to think differently.

I said nothing about concentration camp nonsense. I gave a description of two of the many hardships the Palestinian people in Gaza need to endure. 95% of their water is undrinkable due to them not having the power to clean their water due to both Israel destroying their one power plant and to only receiving a few hours of electricity per day and when these hours even come is random so they cannot plan.

Israel as the occupying power has a responsibility to make sure that the Palestinians have their needs. There is no need more needed than water. The electricity also results in many of their medical problems. Bit difficult trying to do a complicated operation if you may have electrical things you need, cut off in the middle resulting in your patient dying. Again Israel is failing in her legal obligations.

If you were trying to get me to stay in a small strip of land without the most basic resources where I would be fired on for fishing or working my land or just because someone was in the mood for it and have their world class army coming in to cut the grass of my loved ones every few years there is not one hope in hell I would normalise myself to it.

    https://consortiumnews.com/2018/04/...knesset-member-fights-for-her-peoples-rights/

There is your normalisation Gilos. Now ask yourself would you accept that.

Here is a video of young people in Gaza speaking to a young man in Israel. You will remember that 25.9% of 18-35 year old Israeli Jews are open to the return of Palestine's Refugees with full knowledge of the numbers involved. (There is hope somewhere)

It is the story of a people who have suffered the Crime Against Humanity of Ethnic Cleansing and who since have experienced hardship after hardship imprisoned now it a place which after the ten year siege and constant attacks is no longer fit for human beings to live. A people who despite all this have not given up their humanity and spirit as you can see from the video. I take my hat off to them.

Israel hasn't been a Jewish land for 1500 years. There is no legitimate claim for starting a settler government and subjugating people who already lived there.

So? its been "Jewish land" for the passing 70 years, what legitimacy did the Ottoman have or the Brits ? they conquered it.

I agree on the last part of your sentence.

The source is Ma'an News, the Palestinian news agency, not Reuters.
