Here you go - FOX News junkies:

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...want-us-to-pull-out-paris-climate-accord.html

Only 22 Republican Senators signed this letter to Trump back in May. Twenty-two Senators out of 100. And FOX views this as a Republican victory. And Trump acts on this slim minority. Pathetic.

And SURPRISE - SURPRISE! You don't think big Fossil Fuel money is behind this - THINK AGAIN!

Most of the senators who signed are from states that depend on the continued burning of coal, oil and gas. That includes Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Inhofe and others who, like Trump, have suggested the scientific data showing the Earth is warming due to man-made carbon emissions is a hoax.

It's not surprising that Trump's ratings retreated from the low 40 percentile last week to the mid-30s again. The Republican Party continues to show that they don't give a hoot about ordinary American citizens. They are there to serve the Plutarchs and Oligarchs.

The Paris Accord was a hoax. It was another example of politicians getting together to agree to agree on something and pat each other on the back without actually doing anything. It's statements were all non-binding and its provisions were all voluntary. The UN does the exact same thing when they vote non-binding resolutions against Israel.

The only thing this agreement actually did was to exempt most of the world's population from its provisions for years to come and to create a superfund to help developing countries regulate climate. That is all the world needs--a retirement fund for third world dictators (don't think that would never happen)

This is not the first such agreement which to world has tried to foist on America.

President Clinton signed the Kyoto Protocol in 1998 with the same unenforceable provisions and the same negative impact on the US economy. Congress passed the Byrd-Hagel Resolution in 1997 stating any such agreement had to be binding on third world countries at the same time. It passed 95-0 (John Kerry voted for it) and Clinton did not submit it for approval.

Congress also criticized the protocol's negative effect on the US economy--the exact same criticisms that Trump had for the Paris agreement.

President Trump is getting a lot of experience exposing hoaxes--This and the Russia investigation.

Obama signed this sham to have something to add to his "legacy" and to dare anyone to undo.

This "hoax" that you cite is supported by 97% of scientists that have studied the issue. That means that 3% of these scientists are in agreement with you. You're getting close to the numbers of the Flat Earth Conspiracy.

The gist of this thread was that only 22 out of 100 Senators signed this letter, and they were mostly from the fossil-fuel industry states. The information that you mention above is right out of the fossil-fuel industry playbook. Their bogus scientific studies are right there with the tobacco industry of the 1960s.
