Every year during Super Bowl week there is a little charitable golf tournament held in Scottsdale, AZ that is hosted by The Thunderbirds. This little uneventful golf tournament is known as The Waste Management Phoenix Open. Last year's attendance surpassed 700,000 with a record 232,000 spectators on Saturday alone.

The 17th is the drivable par 4, but the 16th is the famous par 3. The 1st and 3rd pics I posted are the 18th. The 2nd and 4th pics are the famous par 3, 16th hole. This past year they constructed 234 sky boxes around the 16th hole and a total just under 34,000 seats. There is very preliminary discussion about a permanent 50,000 seat open roof stadium around the infamous par 3 hole.
