This has to be one of the most irrational pieces of anti-Israel propaganda I've ever seen.

First thing first. There's no context whatsoever to the video. We're just told "mean Israel did this", and that's that.

Secondly, the right of defense against Gaza is totally irrelevant to the topic, since last I checked Jerusalem was not in Gaza.

We're supposed to believe whatever Inlakesh tells us, even though he doesn't tell us anything. A nameless girl from a nameless family is seen crying. From the little information given in the video, I've been able to find the name of the family who was, after a long legal battle, evicted that day from their illegally built house: al Tahan family in Ras el Amud, a neighborhood in Jerusalem. Strangely enough, none of the Palestinian and pro-Palestinian sources I've checked ever mention some unhappy al Tahan girl crying in the middle of the night on the ruins of her home. Anti-Israel propagandists wouldn't miss such a golden opportunity to smear Israel as a child abuser, so the answer to the question "why have they apparently missed this opportunity" is obviously because there was no such opportunity. The whole scene doesn't really belong to the story.

Now we know why Inlakesh doesn't give us any significant details about the event he supposedly describes: because then we'd be able to see right through his lies. Not that Israel haters care about truth and accuracy, of course.

The girl doesn't look at the camera at all, which is weird. This is obviously staged.

Apparently the buildings were allegedly built illegally, on the Palestinian side, but too close to the security wall.

The PA issued building permits, but Israel does not recognise them.

Apparently Israel gave previous ambiguous messages about its jurisdiction on the other side of the wall. So it's a little bit the fault of Israel for not clearly defining their policies well enough in the first place, and then changing or making up their minds after the fact.

In a way, one could view this as excessive government regulations (or at least it is comparable to that). People build homes themselves, try to do the right thing and try to do it legally, but later find out it was in violation of the law.

Many of these family homes being bulldozed seem to be three level structures, so these families were not poor.

The Palestinians are of course claiming Israel is using the security issue as an excuse to push Palestinian population further out and away.

    just two words. Utter Bullcrap!!!

There is no excuse to still be bulldozing these homes in another land grap. Any two state solution presupposes both states with homes and buildings and people living in them.

Please quote the relevant international law(s). Please prove that international laws always trump national sovereignty and national laws, everywhere in the world.

And committed by every counter insurgency force in history. Terrorism is the use of political violence in a democracy and that sure describes Hamas to a tee.

Pallywood, and not it's best production either. Did you notice, all this takes place with late-model Mercedes in the background? And the house being demolished does not look lived in... empty of everything! :)

The terrorism from Hamas is in response to Israeli Terrorism. Neither side was "forced" to engage in terrorism. Your post is bunk.

I agree that Israeli leadership should be jailed for various acts of terrorism and crimes against humanity.

No, foreign Zionist terrorist gangs and militant Jewish land thieves introduced terrorism to Palestine and Palestine's native residents have endured foreign Zionist terrorism for decades.

Would you sit meekly by while foreign invaders massacred your family, destroyed your home and stole land that had been in your family for generations?
    I wouldn't.

I dare you to name just one native population throughout history that has quietly submitted to murderous foreign invaders and ruthless foreign land thieves.

And if the girl did look at the camera, you'd claim that that the video was staged too.

The wanton destruction of Palestinian homes and theft of their land is clearly not staged.

This all boils down to those who support the existance of the Nation of Israel. And those who support its destruction.

My heart goes out to the girl and I want a solution. But my sympathy is not accompanied by anger toward the Israelis. Do some Israelis harbor ill will toward Palestinians (like some cops are racist)? Probably. Do I think that a feeling of ill will by the Israelis IN GENERAL is the primary contributing factor to the destruction of this girl's house? No. I believe that would be the fact that the Palestinians used that land, just a few decades ago, to allow a 6 nation army to sneak attack Israel with the intention of total destruction.

Is it even possible for Israel to live in peace and harmony with its neighbors?

I don't want to see Israel destroyed, but it would be nice to see it held accountable for its many crimes. It would be nice to see it live in peace, instead of constantly trying to expand its territory and attack its neighbors.

I suspect the majority of Jews feel the same as you. Thank you for your honesty.

Many of the actions of the US government make me ashamed to be an American.

however, there are a a minority of Israelis, who push for human rights and civil rights.

they are overwhelmed by the extremists, but they still have a voice.

its these Jews who still give me hope.

    we are not all Fascists.

    What comes first... I wonder?

    1. Israel is hated because of Jews
    2. Jews are hated because of Israel?

It is former, and not the latter. No need to be ashamed of being a Jew, my friend.
