Well, first of all, his recollection of the history of the jews is fairly factual. Jews have been the scapegoats throughout history. "hitler got rid of them - but all those stories of massacres and holocaust are lies" - A classic case of the inability to recognize one's own cognitive dissonance.
You cannot expect people to think well of you when you are keeping them prisoner for over 50 years while you take their homeland. That just is not realistic. Britain's Jews for Justice for Palestinians decide to get to know Britain's Muslims so they invite them to come and visit. They said that pretty much all of them were open to coming except the complete outsiders/extreme - many of them never having met a Jew in their life were exceedingly curious. They apparently were amazed to find Jews who were critical of Israel and before long they had no difficulty in believing the holocaust and that their new found friends had lost loved ones in it. Antisemitism has its own little bits from history and many people don't know them - I didn't when I came on line but once these Muslims had become friends with these Jews they were very keen to learn what it was so that they could avoid it. Jews and Muslims work together on other things for instance the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign where I know everyone works extremely hard to avoid antisemitism. All children in for instance Gaza know of Jews is that Jews hate them, they want to kill them and they have killed family, friends and loved ones. I know that because someone here did a documentary on them after Cast Lead and that was what they said. They of course grow up.
According to the UN and reality.. Israel left Gaza and nobody is taking "their" homeland. You cannot expect people to think well ??????? Are you serious ???????
