    So basically, what we have are unrelated charges in the case, likely ones that Mueller could easily win(they don't hand out indictments unless they think they have a strong case) and the hope is that this makes the President and his team "crack".

    Interestingly though, Manafort's lawyer is quoted as not being interested in giving out free candy. Which really hurts Mueller since he likely did want to use this to fish upwards. If Manafort doesn't bare fruit for them I suspect they'll look at Flynn next.

    It's easy to minimize because it's minimal. It's an obvious ploy to distract from Hillary and the DNC paying millions for Russian misinformation on Trump and letting Russia control 20% of America's uranium after being bribed by Russia. The undisclosed charges will likely be nothing more than a technicality of not registering as a foreign agent in previous business deals and will only go to prove theirs no Russian conspiracy evidence on Trump. It's a desperate move by a desperate man working for a desperate political party.

    Indeed. I can't imagine Congress continuing to foot the bill for an 'investigation' into a rumor started by one of the political parties! And for Mueller, that's a loss of unknown funds.(Who knows how much this stupidity has cost us.)

    If the New York post article is correct about what the indictment is about, then it was something that possibly occurred while working with the Podesta group(not for trump) and has zero to do with the election.

    On non-Ruskie related charges. If he broke the law, he broke the law. But this isn't what we're paying our 'special prosecutor' for. We're paying him to do a job that he seemingly cannot do. Which begs the question: Should we continue paying him?
