Just a continuation from previous administrations. I don't expect any party really wants to pay down the national debt.

They frigging defend more and more taxes. They craft more laws to grab more taxes.

Jerry Brown is on TV whining we want our money that they did not use for highways not spent and recovered.

Yup. Those connected to Government did great. It sucked for the rest of us.

Breaking: US added 250,000 jobs in October, wage growth fastest in recovery

    “Score 1 for “room-to-run” crowd!” says …

    Heck, even this guy’s impressed:

Pretty much everything you could want in a monthly jobs report. Payroll gains way better than expected, nice pop in labor force participation, wage growth continues to strengthen, finally beating inflation (real gains!). Score 1 for "room-to-run" crowd!

In case you don’t recognize the name, that’s Joe Biden’s former economic adviser.

Oh Yeah. Remember FUNemplyment campaign where Lefties urged us to enjoy our unemployment benefits while Recovery Summer supposedly was supposed to kick in after Cash for Clunkers?

Now we have a REAL President!

Tax refunds to be 26% bigger in 2019, Morgan Stanley says.

    That's right!
OCTOBER JOBS ADDED +250K UNEPMPLOYMENT RATE HOLDS AT 3.7% GROWTH IN WAGES +3.1% [IMG]FASTEST PACE IN 9 1/2 YEARS[IMG]

And the labor participation rate, which had been declining pretty much for the past 16 years (but particularly under Obama), increased, resulting in the greatest number of working Americans in history.

The economy is the second most important issue for registered voters as the midterm election nears, a new Gallup Poll says. And there was very good economic news on Friday, as the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics rolled out the October employment report -- the final one before next week's midterm election.

The number of employed Americans has never been higher. The 156,562,000 Americans employed in October is the twefth record set under President Donald Trump...

The unemployment rate held at 3.7 percent, the same as September, which is the lowest it's been in decades -- since the end of 1969. And the Hispanic unemployment rate, 4.4 percent, has never been lower.

The unemployment rate for African-Americans, 6.2 percent, remained near the all-time low of 5.9 percent set in May.

Less than inflation, so no wage growth.

Tell me what the wage growth has been for those top earners that republicans dislike so much is.

Despite using the term "real wages" you don't appear to understand what that means...

Real wages are wages adjusted for inflation, or, equivalently, wages in terms of the amount of goods and services that can be bought. This term is used in contrast to nominal wages or unadjusted wages.

I mean the cost of everything else increasing above the rate of wage increases. Which is true especially given the idiot in tarrifs.

If those costs were over and above wage increases, real wages would be declining, they aren't.

And those tariffs are working-bringing jobs to the middle class-after Obama said they weren't coming back.

Why the hell do you pick such awfully random time intervals? (I already know the reason is cherry picking)

While simultaneously tanking several industries that can’t keep up with the cost-per-unit increase in their raw materials. You’re just redistributing wealth form different sectors of the economy with tariffs.

    What industries are tanking?

2 in 3 Americans now say the economy is booming.

    Wages are up.

And unemployment is at record low levels.
