Pelosi was criticized once for being an ideologue but more recently she's praised as a pragmatic progressive.

Hopefully she'll be able to hold off impeachment until Trump does something indefensible like refusing to comply with a court order.

Last week Pelosi said impeachment was a bad idea and wouldn't be pursued and the next day Al Green and Tlaib are on the capital lawn saying he will without a doubt be impeached.

I think Nancy is wrong not to support Impeachment HEARINGS at this time, and even she's indicated the evidence is there to start, but she has her reasons.

Infrastructure is something everybody (should essentially) agrees on... this they were certainly willing to talk about, even without any real expectation of a deal Trump could get Republicans to support..

 

Not at all... getting witnesses and documents is perfectly proper oversight.... but with Trump in shutdown mode, it certainly appears OOJ will be the fastest route to impeachment, since everybody can see it, instead of trying to interpret witness testimony or understand confusing documents..

We can all understand what's going on when witnesses are directed not to appear for a subpoena...
