Pentagon may cut military support for CIA. What do you think is going on here?

    The Pentagon is 'reviewing' its provision of frequent support for CIA ops. The 'word on the street' (unnamed sources and all) is that these provisions that have been common for decades are coming to an end.

    My hope: this is step one of shattering the CIA into a thousand pieces and scattering it to the winds, as was the dream of the greatest President prior to Trump.

    Wow, that took me by surprise! I never saw this coming. What does it mean? Less missions rescuing little girls in the ME and Africa from being tortured to death by terrorists for going to school, and also drug-running by the CIA to raise cash. More missions to sabotage Russia and China. Dangerous missions that might lead us into another World War and Nuclear annihilation.

    Personally, I think we would have fewer future enemies if the CIA isn't gun-running and arming all sorts of monsters who will take our guns and then shoot us in the back at a later date.

    nope, I would not support any President doing this in their last month in office.... Trump had 4 years, why now?

    To paraphrase the movie "The Good Shepherd" on the creation of the CIA: "our job is to make sure that little wars stays little".

    Maybe the Pentagon is tired of fighting with silly ROE that make sure wars never end.
