P. M. Justin Trudeau deserves a lot of credit for wisely deciding to divert over five hundred million dollars in taxpayers money to the CBC....... Nearly six hundred million dollars will tend to inspire "journalists" to be on the best behaviour for you, for your policies....... and to be at least somewhat more critical of your opponents!

A candidate for the People's Party of Canada in southeastern New Brunswick who says the "threat" of Islamism "overrunning our nation" is what inspired her to seek election, is facing criticism by two newcomer organizations for comments they say are racist.

Nancy Mercier, who is running in the riding of Beauséjour, says on her campaign website that she's an interfaith pastor and naturopath, not a politician.

But she's worried about the "frailty of our freedoms" and believes Canada needs "a stronger leadership that will do politics differently, which includes, putting Canadians and Canada first."

"We don't want terrorism, basically," she told CBC News. "We want people that are going to come that have values that, you know, we're going to remain safe in our communities."

Mercier contends "radical" individuals "who don't agree with the way that we do things" and are "not afraid to tell us," are already living in New Brunswick and across Canada.

"They're integrated everywhere. They've been allowed in for the last two years and where have they gone, where are they? We don't know. They're unaccounted for. But we know they're here, definitely."

Myriam Mekni, executive director of the Multicultural Association of Greater Moncton, said Mercier's message will make her job of making newcomers feel welcome, regardless of their religion or culture, more difficult.

"This is not the Canada I wanted to settle in and I know it does not reflect the majority of the rest of the political landscape," she said in French.

Mekni described Mercier's comments as "a bit alarming" and "a bit dangerous for everyone; not only for immigrants and newcomers, but also for Canadians who are open-minded and do not agree."

Mercier is also calling for a reduction in immigration.

"It's just unsustainable to bring in the amount of people that we are, especially if they're not economically sound in the sense that we have to give all of our resources to them before we do to Canadians that really deserve that in the first place."

Some immigrants are "just coming to leech our system … and to take, take, take whatever they can. You know, whether it be housing, welfare, health care — all of those sorts of things, where our own people right now are on waiting lists for surgeries, for places to [live]."

Neil Boucher, executive director of the Francophone Welcome and Support Centre for Immigrants in Southeastern New Brunswick, also found Mercier's remarks worrisome.

"These people, in fact, all they want to do is become good citizens, have a job, pay taxes and be part of the community. That's my experience … whether it's Muslims, Jamaicans, French or Belgians," he said in French.

People's Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier, who was campaigning with Mercier in New Brunswick on Tuesday, said he supports and shares his candidate's stance on immigration. He said it reflects Canadian values.

"When [you're] seeing that 49 per cent of Canadians want fewer immigrants, are you seeing that 49 per cent of Canadians are racist? No, they're not racist. They like this country, they love this country. And we are having that discussion about immigration because we want this country to be like that in 25 years from now," he said.

Mercier dismisses the notion her position is racist. She noted her brother-in-law, who is a Muslim of Indian and Afghani descent, and a young gay man of Lebanese and Egyptian descent, both live with her.

"They've integrated here very well and they've escaped the type of terrorism that I'm speaking of that they see being brought here now," she said.

Mercier said she welcomes immigrants who are willing to integrate and be productive.

"The more the merrier."

On the other hand P. M. Justin Trudeau's wisdom with money is not going over so well in Alberta.......
The province of Alberta is at an all time high for a serious sentiment to leave Canadian confederation and
form a republic.

In order to begin a gambit that I believe can keep Alberta within Canada I am proposing the following and what I have in mind is relevant to all PPC candidates all across Canada. Frankly this idea is relevant to all candidates from all Canadian
federal parties.

From my Facebook wall:

"Attempting to keep Alberta within Canada may be our excuse to get a majority of thirty seven point six million Canadians to think about this seriously. My proposal.... . is to create one hundred and nineteen billion dollars through the Bank of Canada in 2020 much as was done from 1938 to 1974 as explained by Ms. Betty Krawczyk........ One hundred billion will be a repayment to the province of Alberta for over charging them due to a clerical error made by Prime Minister Pierre E. Trudeau back in 1974..... and the other nineteen billion will be to finance that five hundred dollars per month to all Canadian citizens and residents.

This will give Canadians the incentive that they need to take a serious look at this. One possible way to make this proposal famous would be for me to attempt to mount a campaign to rival Mr. Maxime Bernier for the role of national leader of the PPC?

(Note..... although I was willing to be the PPC candidate for Central - Nova and although I did submit my application to serve in that capacity ..... within two hours of meeting Mr. Al Muir I was trying my best to convince him to be the PPC candidate here rather than me because I felt that he was actually a better candidate than I was...... Please think about this..... If I consider Mr. Al Muir to be a better candidate than me for here in Central - Nova.......... what is the probability that I actually consider myself to be a better potential leader for the PPC than Mr. Maxime Bernier is????????????????????)"

Ms. Betty Krawczyk:

"But somehow this worked backward for Trudeau. Many Canadians still think highly of Pierre Trudeau, but in 1974 he did one terrible thing that changed the lives, for present and future, of all Canadians, for the worse. Trudeau gave the leading operations of the Bank of Canada over to the private banks operating in Canada.

The Bank of Canada was first established by Prime Minister Richard Bennet in 1935 as a private central bank, but was then nationalized by William Lyon Mackenzie King in 1938. By nationalizing the bank, Mackenzie King meant for it to belong to the people so the Canadian government could borrow funds with little or no interest for capital expenditures. The mandate of the newly nationalized Bank of Canada was to act as the banker to the government and to manage the public debt. As Mackenzie King famously said: “Once a nation parts with the control of their currency and credit, it matters not who makes that nation’s laws. Usury, once in control, will wreck any nation. Until the control of the issue of currency and credit is restored to government and recognized as its most sacred responsibility, all talk of sovereignty of parliament and of democracy is idle and futile.”

So the Bank of Canada was nationalized in 1938 and the government could now borrow money with little or no interest. And it worked. The Canadian government built freeways, public transportation systems, subway line, airports, the St. Lawrence Seaway and funded a national health care system and the Canada Pension Plan. But then Trudeau, under the influence of the international financial group called Basel’s
Committee’s Recommendations (The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) made the decision to halt the borrowing of money from the Bank of Canada, and instead, chose to borrow from the private banks who instead of lending to the government at no interest, or low interest, introduced higher interest rates along with compound interest.

All banks know very well the magic of compound interest. And Pierre Trudeau must have known that the mounting compounded national debt would lead to Canadians eventually owing a dollar fifty for every dollar of their disposable incomes. After all, he studied economics at the London School of Economics. Surely the professors there knew about compound interest.

So Pierre Trudeau, instead of feeling blessed that Canada, unlike the US, had a nationalized central bank, signed our bank away to the private banks. Couldn’t Trudeau, such an educated man, surmise that citizens in a few years would be struggling to make car payments and meet rent and mortgages and student loans and to buy healthy food while last year’s profits for the big five (that’s Royal Bank, TD Bank, Scotiabank, Bank of Montreal and CIBC amounted to $31.7 billion?) If he did, he didn’t care. But it doesn’t have to be this way. It really doesn’t. Our Bank of
Canada is still there. Next time."

I would like to see a whole new type of politics begin in my area, Central - Nova, Nova Scotia, Canada partly because M. P. Sean Fraser is one of the only people that I know who is capable of understanding my ramblings and then translating what I tell him into the language of "Yuppies"..... the top one percent of the most educated and most wealthy Canadians and Americans!

I met with M. P. Sean Fraser in the Sherbrooke Lions Hall in the summer of 2016 and I was seriously impressed when after listening to me ramble on for several minutes he replied to me.... (as best as I can remember)....... "Oh... you mean Quantitative Easing?"

I didn't know that phrase so I repeated and repeated and repeated it in my mind and looked it up when I got home and sure enough......... Quantitative Easing was EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TALKING TO HIM ABOUT!!!!!!!

The title of this discussion is me putting forward a proposal for a whole new approach to politics!

Instead of simply attempting to get rid of our political opponents and put them into a position where they have to apply for a new job...... how about we discuss ways to create a career for all candidates from all major political parties in our area and link all of this to a plan to attempt to prevent another 1929......... A POSSIBLE BEAR MARKET??????
