there haven't been major strikes, or even major riots, and you think that we're on the brink of revolution?

Nope. It is dialectics that are my strong suit. --- An accumulation of small quantitative changes will, at a crucial juncture, produce a qualitative change.

The only people who think there is going to be a revolution are loser dudes posting from their daddy's attic (after being kicked out of mommy's basement). They usually have avatars of upside down American flags or of "themselves" wearing a mask and holding a gun they don't know how to use.

First the Former Soviet Union was a workers state the way you are a 500 pound house cat. 2nd the party that ditched Americas workers to become the party of the super rich and the Super poor ain't leading anyone anywhere, hell they can't even figure out that their magic formula doesn't work too well any more.

Another self hating little rich girl that thinks she knows something little more than cannon fodder for the revolution. The sort of dummy Mao killed as soon as he took power.

a bunch of people sleeping in tents on a street for a couple months, several years ago, isn't very impressive. The country has >300 million people in it. You're going to need to bring a hell of a lot more to bear to make a difference.

We do not need everybody. All we need is enough. The 13 colonies did not break with Great Britain because they had everybody on their side. If you study history you will see that those who supported King George III were driven into exile by the tens of thousand or had their property confiscated or were jailed or tar and feathered or intimidated into silence.

"enough" is much more than a couple thousand.
There's 34,000 policemen in New York city alone.

... and what is the non-police population of N.Y.C.? It is, according to wiki, 8.5 million. Just 5% of that could take care your New York City police force. Ciao.

lmao good luck getting 5% to seriously get behind your movement

and you also have to count out the elderly, the infirm, the weak, the obese, the young, etc from your population pool since they're effectively useless at fighting cops.

then to top it off you have to account for the police forces of surrounding municipalities as well as the national guard.

    Much dissatisfaction for sure.

The power's still on though, & everyone still has access to the Interwebz, so there's little chance of any revolution for American Citizens (at least) at this time.

Europeans may be ready to revolt, depending on which country one lives in, & Venezuela perhaps, but until creature comforts start to disappear, the Mob here will just throw tantrums.

Police and national guardsmen are people too. You don't think some of them have sympathies with the people?? They can fraternize with the people, etc. It has happened in other countries ...

I don't think that's the case in the modern American political landscape.

    There's something to that.

Hell, it's pretty certain there's no one posting in this thread that can understand and accept their most prime rights of the constitution.

    1) We have the right to alter or abolish government destructive to unalienable rights.

    2) If the framers intended for Americans to alter or abolish then they intended that Americans use the ultimate PURPOSE of free speech to enable the unity under law in order to alter or abolish government destructive to unalienable rights.

Let alone anyone realizing that 1) is an empty right without 2).

What gets me over and over is the 2 AMD nuts that can't realize the 1st is 1st for a reason. Thems gonna be the the ones with the cold dead, empty hands.

That is generally a very ignorant landscape. Watch my last post.
