Hawkings claims he is "baffled" by Trump's popularity. Perhaps I could enlighten this sage by informing him that Americans are among the most ignorant citizens of this sad globe. Trump deserves to be given a kick to his rump.

Hawking lives in a control freak like airconditioned secure environment, isolated from the outside and the real world,
where some of us say as the middleclass, have to backup a big rig trailer in traffic in a busy street, dodging cars that in a hurry to go to there mall, to shop buying Chinese and Mexican made products that i or other trucker have to deliver too, that our taking away our future jobs from our children. hes got a guaranteed paycheck from the government HELLO

This guy is a faker. Look at all the books behind him. How can he even read them if he want to?

Can we check what Trump has contributed to the world-apart from those essential golf courses, of course. I mean, what would we do without golf courses?

 

Hawking should stick to science and leave the rest to the grownups.

 

i listen to him and admired his work, but he hasn't a FRECKEN clue on whats going onside with china and Mexico nafta job taking for the last 25 years and real world outside his laboratory or office, the guys smart no kidding around that, but lacks commonsense outside his box he is in..

 

When Einstein is cited as believing in God (albeit an "impersonal" God) leftists claim he is just a theoretical physicist with no special insights or expertise on the issue.

But when Hawking says there is no God, heaven is a myth, etc. he is applauded for his brilliance and his opinion is given extra weight. And the same goes for his opinion of Trump. The leftist double standard, also known as hypocrisy, is on display once more.

Frankly I don't see why Hawking's opinions are of any special value, one way or the other.

 

Oh the irony. It is that type of anecdotally based logic that I believe Dr. Hawking refers to in his summation of those who support Trump.

 

If I could sit around all day I could come with theories also.

 

Because illegal immigrants taking more out of the system than they put into it, while undermining American wages MAKES SENSE.

Because China taking American manufacturing jobs, to grow a hostile China's economy MAKES SENSE.

Maybe to Hawking this makes sense.

If Hawking doesn't get why people are concerned about these issues, he obviously has a poor grasp of politics.

 

I like ole Stevie and really care about what he has to say about space aliens, space travel, time travel , Star Wars, but Stevie is not an American so he really should not have a say in how F-'d up Our.Dear.Future Leader is.

Demagogues are populists who appeal the the lowest common denominator. This is exactly what Trump is.

But many Republicans are angry with Washington and they don't want a politician. They want to elect a guy who knows nothing about politics. Unfortunatley for them, too many Republicans hate him for the same reason: he's an uncultured pig.

 

Being an intellectual, he is obviously going by the original meaning of the word which is 'leader of the common people'.

 

Uuum. The democrat platform is based around the lowest common denominator. Look how they treat education. AA. Diversity? It's all the lowest, fairest, average. Obamacare is the lowest common denominator. Only helped a fraction of people and (*)(*)(*)(*)ed the rest of us.

When we need to understand how gravity affects our ideology Ill take what he says with more gravitas. Since we dont, he has nothing more than an opinion just like everyone else. Thus proving you can still be a genius at one thing and a complete moron at another.
