Meanderings of my mind (beware, lol) Inspired by my sincere effort to step into the mindset of the partisan opposition. What societal & bureaucratic ends do they ultimately envision? What is the 'progressive' / 'liberal' philosophical / ideologic bent? Is it simply living for the moment satiating the 'id' & 'ego' w/o much concern for the 'super-ego', lol. Are utopianistic drivers simply a means to a self serving end... Wouldn't the notion of 'super-ego' be based on whatever the movers & shakers of society & culture, want it to be?

The 'ends justifying the means' - 'self subscribed relativistic standards' Are we, the living, & perhaps a generational smattering of our forebears, so progressively advanced as to 'flip the proverbial switch' on the innate compass within - Are there not immutable tenets of morality universally realized, beyond the bounds of creed or culture? What is from within can certainly be willfully suppressed, but it never changes it cannot be willfully twisted or adulterated.

I would think that for those who don't subscribe to something (a standard) greater than themselves, there must be self-serving drive to shape, conformingly, the world around themselves. Contrived 'benchmarks', legislative finagling, 'narrative-centric' platforms & causes - they all become a source of substantiation, in and onto itself. Truth & the designation of evolving "standards" - is whatever the driving influencers of culture determine it to be. Most culturally Laudable are the 'new rules', the new paradigms, new platitudes, new genders etc. - all celebrated as forward thinking, cerebral advancements...

I for one, aint buying it!

No.. there is no saturation point because although the learning curve levels out, it is history in the making and therefore only end when we do.

    Ito this
May I recommend Michelle Malkin's latest book it should clarify some of the financial drive behind the progressive movement

    :)

There are certainly those, but I think more and more do subscribe to a higher standard that is greater than themselves - and that standard is the "collective." The collective is more important than themselves; is more important than you or I. They have succumbed to the daily bombardment of "class victimhood." And they desire to prostrate themselves on the alter of the victims. They never understood that the individual is greater than the collective - and a collection of individuals is much, much greater than the "collective."

And all the rest just want free chit.

The underlying driving force behind everything leftists push is fear. Why because if you can scare people badly enough they are more likely to look to government for protection. For those at the top the goal is the political power to remake society/reality into their own vision. In order to do that society, as it currently exists and it's various constructs must first be demolished. Hence open borders, the destruction of the very Idea of God as distinct from the state, rampant immorality passed off as freedom never mind that it is, in fact. the ultimate enslaver of men's souls.
