    Haha polls.
They are either wrong or rigged. Trump has 90% of the support of real America.

90% of 45% of the country?

    Cool.

That is a SOLID 40% (40.5% to be exact) :flagus:

Maybe if he picks up enough stray votes he might even be able to barely crack 46% (like in 2016)?

Your poll from CNN used 35% Democrats, 25% republicans and 40% independents.

    Yet:

“As of February 2020, Gallup polling found that 29% of Americans identified as Democrat, 30% identified as Republican, and 39% as Independent.[3]Additionally, polling showed that 47% are either "Democrats or Democratic leaners" and 46% are either "Republicans or Republican leaners" when Independents are asked "do you lean more to the Democratic Party or the Republican Party?"”

And you think that’s not biased? They increased Democrat representation by 6% while decreasing republican representation by 5%.

As I’ve stated time and again. Believe these BS polls at your own peril.

The national lead doesn't matter. The polling in the battleground states is what counts. OH, PA, FL, VA, etc.

As you can see, there are three articles, two say Trump's approval rating dropped, and one says his approval rating remains high. Guess which one said it's still high? Fox News. Surprised?

    https://www.npr.org/sections/corona...proval-rating-slumps-amid-coronavirus-fallout
The nation's opinion of President Trump and his handling of the coronavirus pandemic are now on a downward turn, as the economy slumps and the death toll mounts in the virus's wake.

While Trump enjoyed a short-lived approval ratings bump in March at the onset of the outbreak, an aggregation of recent opinion polls show the public's approval of his job performance and specific handling of the coronavirus is slipping.

From March 29 to April 8, the number of Americans who disapprove of Trump's job performance grew by 5.2% , with slightly more than half of those surveyed expressing disapproval of his operation.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fox News poll: Trump approval hits new high in middle of coronavirus pandemic https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...ts-new-high-in-middle-of-coronavirus-pandemic
President Trump’s job approval rating is at a record high in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic that has shut down large swaths of the country.

Forty-nine percent of registered voters approve of Trump’s performance as president, which is up from 48% two weeks ago and 47% at the end of February, according to the latest Fox News poll.

Forty-nine percent of voters disapprove of Trump, representing only the third time in the history of Fox News polling that the disapproval number is less than 50%.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trump's poll numbers dip over handling of coronavirus pandemic https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/apr/10/trump-poll-numbers-dip-handling-coronavirus

Support for Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus has plunged over the past week, polls show, as some of his advisers and Republican allies are said to be concerned over the US president’s daily briefings on the pandemic.

Trump experienced an upturn in public support as the virus hit the US, and his job approval rating surged to almost the highest rating since he was elected. As concerns over the government’s response have grown, however, the number of people who believe the president is doing a good job appears to be settling back to pre-coronavirus levels.

+10% Democrats over Republicans 'sampled'. These folks learned nothing since 2016. Same manufactured idiocy...

All these polls remind me of 2016. Except CNN won't have a meltdown this time when the inevitable happens.

The odds makers in Vegas are rarely wrong, and there is no bias. Here is the latest numbers. A negative number is an odds-on favorite, a positive number indicates a losing position.

April 8th- Trump -120, Biden +140. Trumps odds are improving- Bidens are getting worse. This is not a poll- it's people who are putting their money down to back up what they think will happen.

What this tells me is that the result depends on who's polling which makes the polls useless.

I, too, find polls to be little more than entertainment. But I do listen to people around me who share their opinions. There are the die hard libs who hated him at the start and hate him more now. There are also righties - some supported Trump, some didn't. What has struck me were words like 'out of his depth' used by folks who supported the notion of Trump. They wanted to see a businessman in the WH. The hated the political machinery and were willing to throw their support behind someone they thought could dramatically shift things away from the same old, same old. And while I may not agree, I completely understand and respect their view. What has become clear to many is that there is a reason for politicians to run and lead. They are budget balancers or money makers. They are process people who know which levers to pull and who to call for guidance in a wide range of situations. They understand committees. And while that isn't sexy and revolutionary, I think we are seeing now that those skills are important in times of crisis.

Looks like Democrats are making the same mistakes. 'Orange man bad' isn't a platform, does anyone even know if they have a platform? From what I gather Biden is the second coming of the Obama era. Which is odd because that gave us Trump in the first place. They are already taking swaths of their base for granted and have offered nothing but pandering, nothing remotely like a plan. Add in the ridiculous polling and November should be entertaining...

It’s goes without saying, but Trump will lose the popular vote in 2020 and so will the Republican Party’s undercard.

You believe everything you read too? Part of the reason polls often favor democrat candidates is simple. There are way more low information people in the US who identify as democrats. Another reason is that almost all the polls are conducted by left and far left leaning media and other propaganda rams of the DNC. Russia also engages in disinformation and allowed to do so by mostly far left social media and other corrupt sources that will do what ever it takes to elect a demented broken far left fool like Biden, another loser that can be easily manipulated by those who control him.

Wellll . . . right now Biden has been ordered by the DNC to try and woo angry Bernie Bros, and so they have him promising Socialistic schemes and dreams out the boo-hoo in order to trick them into voting for him. Of course the instant Biden begins campaigning in earnest against Trump he will hot foot it back to the ideological center once more with all of his Obama-style 'promises' to the nation's lunatic far left instantly forgotten. One wonders how many of them will let themselves be taken to the ideological cleaners by a corrupt to the core DNC and their front man yet again.

I think you are trying to say the Vegas odds people aren't always right? That would be true. Worst miss ever for them was was Clinton/Trump 2016. I said "rarely wrong" because they aren't always right.
Of course they were a lot closer than many major media; Washington Post (or the Times, not sure which) had a headline saying 91% Clinton, 9% Trump.

Wow, another poll that just makes me feel what a total waste of time it would be if I bothered to fill out a ballot for Trump. Whoa is me, whoa is me.
