POLL: Should we arm the moderate Iranian rebels to overthrow their terrorist regime?

Many years ago, we helped overthrow a previous terror regime and gave Iran a wise, pro-Israel, pro-USA leader, the Iranian hero called the Shah.

Since the Shah left, Iran has been spreading terror and Islamic fanaticism to the 4 corners of the planet. It has even threatened to wipe out our closest ally Israel. Given that the Iranians have nukes and are also fanatics, this is a genuine risk.

The oppressed Iranian women and downtrodden moderate rebels deserve better than this.

Fortunately our regional allies, Israel, Saudi and Turkry also care for the plight of the Iranian people. We, the USA, should work with such allies and the moderate Iranian rebels to liberate Iran from its terror. And while we're at it, we should take out their nukes, before they get Israel.

This will be a long war and we will probably lose many brave heroic sons of the USA. But the price of defending Israel, land of God's Chosen People (according to the Holy Bible) will be worth it.

May God bless our soldiers as they go into war against a brutal enemy, in the full assurance that Good will destroy Evil.

What we (and everyone else) should do is stay out of everything Middle Eastern forever.

 

tecoyah is right on this one. We installed the Shah, but he was not well received by the Iranian people. He was corrupt and basically a terrible guy. His departure was not a good time.
U.S. involvement in the M.E. throws everything completely outta' whack. Those who should be putting up the fight are sitting around, letting our people die, and watching us throw away military resources, instead of buying them from us, as it should be.
Look where our involvement in Syria has ended up. We're paying people to fight people that we are paying to fight.... uh... something. The result is that we're diminishing our own military resources to the point where we can't maintain our own status in the eyes of our real foes.
Of course, I think this will all change with the next election. Hildebeast is owned by the military industrial complex, so if she gets the nod, she has no choice but to serve them with the blood of the world. The Donald has "issues" with Islam, China, and anyone who gives us a bad time, so he'll have us blasting half the planet to Kingdom Come, just the same. Can't you just wait a few months?

 

Israel is perfectly capable of defending itself if it needs to.
