Which is exactly what I've been calling for, for years.

Rather than the way it is painted by the right wing (communism etc...), the need is to calm down the aggressiveness of companies. Return to the initial intent of the stock markets as a place to invest and yield dividends, not an increase in share price for short term gain.

So, once again, the US christian Right is out of step with the pope. He is displaying christina values, as put forth by christ, while the bogus christians in the US are not.

there is nothing inherently wrong with free market. And there will always be those that try to work the system. I have always been for anti-monopoly laws. And this stance by the pope is not unexpected by me. After all, he's from the order that is very modest in their regards to money. He's preached to drive a used car instead of a flashy new car... etc.

So you won't hear any disagreement from this right winger who drives a 97 Dodge Caravan as a daily driver.

The thought that right wingers are for unadulterated greed, however, is way off base as saying every left winger is for communism....

This pope is a smart one, understanding that capitalist markets no longer need the church to legitimize their authority like monarchs and states did he is playing the populist card against them.
I wonder what he thinks about child molestation god and "too holy to jail" policy .

Leffe, how are you going to change everything? Obama is owned by G.E. and Goldman Sachs? Pelosi is a rich Democrat who is enriching her husband with no-bid gov't contracts.

The Left is run by crony capitalists and their puppets. If anything, we need nationalism in the US to protect us from these crony globalist capitalists and their Democrat and Rino puppets.

Obviously, you need to do some research on religions....

If anything the Pope needs to condemn idolatry of Obama

I note with interest that you avoid pointing out the Republicans who've benefitted from globalisation. Rather disingenuous I'd say.

Tell me, what was GWB doing when he was photographed kissing the Saudi?

Did jesus say "love thy enemy"?

Where did the pope go wrong in his message about worshipping money and placing it at the centre of human life?

I thought it was kinda obvious, but sure, Ill hook you up.

The pope doesnt speak for evangelicals
the pope doesnt speak for mormons
the pope doesnt speak for lutherans
the pope doesnt speak for methodists
the pope doesnt speak for Presbyterians

The pope only speaks for Catholics. Catholic is the religion of the KKK, and catholics vote democrat.

So if the pope is (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing about catholics lust for money, hes simply blaming you.

    but thanks and all.

I agree then the Pope will wear simple robes, sandals, not where jewelry and order the Churches income and assets to go to the benefit of the poor so they can be educated or help in self-employment including the treasures of the places of faith. Do what you say or no one will take you seriously.

He did and America has always tried to be a generous victor in war.

I understand why you don't know but I'm not sure about what excuses the Pope's ignorance.

We are never going to see a perfect Christian world until Jesus returns and rules as a king.

Because humans are simply too flawed to rule themselves.

Well not me. But he speaks for a huge amount of the worlds christians.

So the problem for you is that you do not accept his papal authority?

    - - - Updated - - -

Well lets hope he manages a better job of it this time around, as he didn't manage very well the first or second time...

    Third time lucky?

The Vatican would be an excellent place to start setting an example so that we lowly peasants, unworthy of glorification, and doomed to eternal suffering for not exalting the Pope, should have some glimmer of hope that the death of Jesus was not in vain.

Maybe we can start by merely convincing our elected representatives to be moral enough to bear true witness (as a free social moral) to our own laws regarding the concept and legal doctrine of employment at will and unemployment compensation that clears our poverty guidelines and that can solve for the deleterious effects of natural rate of unemployment and a poverty of money in our Institution of money based markets.

Hey do your homework before you post. One of the Ks in KKK, stands for Katholics[sic]. The KKK in the beginning used to lynch Catholics. I didn't realize you hated Catholics that much.

I believe moral failures require morals tests, not drug tests in modern times. maybe we can petition a Pope for a contingent of subject matter specialists, to help out.

I don't know what happens to non Christians in hell, so you may not be part of the Kingdom of God when Christ returns.

But rest assured it will be very pleasant for everyone else.

Pope Francis is onto something huge here!!!!

A Being of Light who has invested essentially infinite time planning and working out an essentially infinite number of Big Bang events over infinite time in the past would be EXTREMELY interested in each human life.......because it took an awfully long time to invent all of us!!!!????

The scandal about indulgences undoubtedly weakened the grip of the Bishop of Rome on diocese in which he had no authority, Some of us just went back to being Christian though: you take the bossy old bish too seriously.
