Portland school employee accused of sharing explicit photo of child, exposing himself

That same suspect is also charged after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman and pressed himself against her.

I once read that more children are molested in Public Schools than Religious schools,

Are there reliable statistics about it?

I'm to lazy too do the research, but I would bet big money that that's just a matter of sheer numbers. There are FAR MORE kids enrolled in public schools than in religious schools, so just according to basic math it's going to be a matter of "more children are(insert whatever) in public schools than religious schools" because there are far more kids in public schools to have whatever done to them.

I don't think there is motivation to keep those statistics. Not enough activists demanding it or hiring social "scientists" to drum up numbers. But I see local stories every year of teachers being caught.

Stats are numbers to be used and some stats are not kept because it would hurt the narrative.

Off topic but for instance, we have gun stats...suicide by gun, homicide by gun. What stats we don't keep is stats on people who successfully protected themselves or their families because they used a legally owned gun. Yet every year locally...we have news stories of people doing just that.

Okay, wait a minute. While this is bad, there's no specific evidence that this guy actually molested anyone.

Are people who commit crimes not entitled to the benefit of the doubt that they did not commit other crimes?
Not only that but we don't even have fool-proof evidence that he indeed committed the crime; it is based off an accusation from someone else.
Maybe for example that other woman whom he sexually harassed wants to get rid of him so she put another woman up to falsely accusing him. The point is we don't know for certain.

It should also be pointed out that a very disproportionate percentage of child molesters seem to be bisexual. They just have huge very uncontrollable sexual urges and it often extends across gender lines.

Bisexual people might only make up 0.4% of the total population, but maybe around 40% of child molesters target both genders. So there's obviously something going on there...

I happen to know two people who were molested as children, a woman and a man, and BOTH of them said they had a sibling of the opposite gender who were also molested by that same person. This is probably not a coincidence. (By the way, what else they had in common is an absent father and a mother who was gone all day working and didn't have time to pay attention to her children, and both grew up in poorer neighborhoods)

(Nothing in this post should be interpreted as disparaging bisexual people)

So you will ask what does this have to do with the opening post? Well, the man in the story was accused both of exposing himself and uninvitedly pushing himself up against a woman, and taking a picture of a boy exposing himself. If both accusations are true, then it obviously seems like he is a pervert.

On the other hand, statistically it has to be pointed out that if someone is accused of doing something sexual to a woman and then separately accused of doing something sexual to a boy, then the statistical odds that at least one of those accusations may be false is a little bit higher.

Oh by the way can I ask, was he exposing himself AS he was pressing himself up against her?

Was this intended to be the main point of your thread?

Sorry, I couldn't tell what point you were trying to focus on.
