    Clips make for faster reloading as well as the ability to use more effective ammo in snubs, i.e. 38 vs 9mm. Here are the disadvantages. Crimp jumping of ammo is a potential problem and the cartridges must be approved for use in moon clip weapons. The second is that you can't top off empties and recharge a partially filled weapon without removing the clip. Thirdly the clips can be bent, and good holders are bulky, expensive and hard to find.
