What do you predict will be the anti-Trump talking points leading up to the 2020 election? Predictions of internment camps for minorities and gays wont fly anymore. Neither will fearmongering of WW3, transition to Theocracy or the dreaded Russian puppet state. They're gonna have to come up with something new. What do you think it'll be? We can also discuss what the right will use to demonize, though thats a bit harder until candidates emerge.
I predict a lot more weepy deflection threads like this one from the Trump fanatics, as their desperation levels rise. Trump's corruption, treason and immorality can't be handwaved away by lying about the motives of the patriots, as you're trying to do. We're going to electorally ream you for supporting evil and corruption, and crying about how mean we are won't stop us. So, how do your RepubliRussian masters tell you to respond to that? You better go check.
I'd love to contribute predictions for what politics will look like in 2020. Unfortunately there is absolutely no way of telling for 2 reasons: after the 2016 election, I've given up on political speculation. While I did in fact correctly predict the outcome of the general election, the primaries were still a shock to me. The second one is simply because with this particular administration, everyone weather we like it or not can only take things one day at a time. This President moves from one controversy to another with each passing day. Today he tweeted this lie. The next day he said something racist or sexist. The next day his campaign manager is arrested. The next day he pulls out of an international agreement. And on and on it goes. There is absolutely NO way of telling what things will look like in 6 months let alone 2 years. However I'll do a couple of very risky predictions: There will be a stock market crash before Drumpf's first term ends and Drumpf will still be in office on January 21st 2019 beating Zachary Taylor's time in office. Weather he will be in office until January 21st 2021 is impossible to say with 100% certainty.
Hmm, I have absolutely no doubt that they are going to do exactly the same thing they were doing in 2016 expecting of course a different result. They are not known as TDS crowd for nothing lol.... And they sure as hell can't campaign on issues, higher taxes, open borders, outsourcing, globalism, anti-American hatred don't sell all that well outside their bubble.
I would like it if the Democrats chose Oprah..... set her up with a great VP candidate... and run her both in 2020 as well as 2024........ She would be absolutely the best that they could get......... because.... like President Trump she would not simply go for win vs lose..... .but would try her best to set up a possible win - win - win - win - win scenario..... where most Americans win. V. P. candidates to serve along with Oprah? I would love to see this man chosen to be her V.P. candidate: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1729521777377245 But..... politics being what it is... perhaps Zuckerberg for V. P. and Chris Brown for Chairman of the Federal Reserve might be more appropriate.
Pretty sure the Democrats will be going with "MS-13 aren't so bad" and that "the Democrats will protect the backs of immigrants." ( illegal aliens ) The Dems will not mention the working middle class (they already don't) and will deny there was ever was a "Russia Russia Russia."
I stand corrected. They might just regurgitate the same ol crap... If so, we'll have a slam dunk. Nothin but net.
Trump will win 2020 with GOP victories on his coat tails. The media and elitist will be more shocked than Hillary's loss. Watch for the wave. Not the Blue one, the Red one!
That video is 1.5 hrs long! All due respect but sum that up for us if want it considered. If I spend that much time on one thread I will not have time to spread Russian propaganda.
On election night it looks like a blue wave. Red tide at night. But when the sun comes up it's actually a Red Tide. Red tide.
I wouldn't be surprised if he said he wasn't going to run ..... With all the hate and attacks on him , his wife and children , I wouldn't blame him . It's not like he's TRYING to get rich .... Being President .
Here are some statements by a similar type of thinker from right here on politicalforum.com. I did a paper on the Weimar Republic back in Economics 101, (or was it 220).... whichever it was I was seriously impressed by this new information that I did not find out back then. Best explanation for Weimar Republic Inflation I ever read.... Knowing these details about the real problem in the Weimar Republic inflationary period........ and the somewhat similar problems that happened during the Lincoln administration........ and the somewhat similar problems that happened in Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Argentina and in a number of other nations in the not too distant past. Understanding this sets the stage for what I talked about in my four previous campaigns: My 2006, 2008, 2016 and 2004 campaign writings as ART.
And did you know that most of the photos of the immigrant children were taken in 2014 while Obama was President? Are the photos of the children from the Obama era? Obama officials rushed to explain photos from 2014 that went viral showing locked-up immigrant children — and Trump's facilities look the same
This is an interesting question. I think we have to look at the factors that got Trump elected to begin with. 1) This was an anti-establishment election. While some may have suspected Trump would be an establishment wonk - we did not know this for sure. Hillary on the other hand was a well known commodity .. a hard core establishment wonk. 2) Hillary was a horrible horrible candidate. So condescending and arrogant. I was glad Trump won just on the basis that I would not have to listen to her for 4 years. Even Dem women did not like her. She had no plan - presented nothing to vote for .. all she did was talk about Trump When Michael Moore went across the nation doing town halls - halls full of republicans in many cases - he predicted a Trump win at a time when almost no one else was and Hillary was way ahead in the polls. His rational was that the electorate wanted to throw a wrench into the establishment. Roughly 2 years after Trump was elected I can say with much certainty that the electorate has gotten even more anti establishment. Polls show this - The MSM can pound Russia gate and claim they are fair and balanced and that the system is not corrupt all day long. The electorate is not buying it. So where does this leave us. Trump has not been confirmed as an establishment wonk. He lies every day - I mean all politicians lie and this is what we expect but Trump is a piece of work , he lies for no good reason and its almost every time he opens his mouth - They guy has psychological issues and is a megalomaniac on steroids. His trade war is going to damage a whole lot of people in a whole lot of red states. Republican congress is speaking out but - not enough of them. Among independents - a group that is growing fast - Trump is not gaining any points with ramping up the war on pot and defunding planned parenthood. Separating kids from their parents is a disaster. The one saving grace is that on the other side of the fence we still have no plan. They are not basing Trump as much as Hillary but, there is no coherent plan forward. They may not need one. Trump's economy is stagnating. Since the start of his first fiscal term starting October of Last year he has thrown 600 Billion in credit card (deficit) spending into the economy and the Dow is 2000 points lower than the high of this year. One thing that may help Trump is that if the Dem's take Senate the GOP will once again be able to blame them for not getting anything done. I doubt this will help much though. Trump is borderline scary - and this is apparent even to those (which is most) who do not pay much attention. This is not a sound formula for getting reelected.
Is that the young Democrat that upset the old Democrat in the Bronx/Staten Island primary for congressman? I assume it is. That's a good thing, but don't read too much into it. The old Democrat was a beltway insider who had become increasingly detached from his constituents. He got very complacent and ran a terrible campaign, even skipping the debate. Glad to see the new blood, an unapologetic liberal. She's especially good in TV interviews, so let's hope she does a lot of them, to help drive turnout among younger voters. But as it's a very solid blue district, her primary win and inevitable November win isn't a sign of a national liberal wave.
Unlikely, US first woman president will be white if she's a Republican and Black if she's a democrat.
