    Once you got it you gotta protect it militarily. But in a pinch the USA has probably gotta protect it militarily anyway. Like Hawaii, proximity is proximity and you only want friendlies in your proximity.

    I read recently that unlike Puerto Ricans, Samoans aren't considered American citizens. Some Samoans are now pushing to get that changed. If there were ever a policy proposal both sides could get behind, this might just be it.

    I don't think we really need Greenland, and I'd want a local plebescite to agree to the decision before any transfer took place, but I'm okay with this idea.

    yep, just not the Presidential elections, unless they move to the USA which they can do and many Puerto Ricans did after the storm... weird that if one moved to Puerto Rico they could no longer vote even though they were Americans

    btw, most of the left does not support reperations or free immigrant healthcare, kinda like most of the right doesn't support forcing rape and incest victims to have their rapists babies
