In fact, before turning over the impeachment articles to the Senate, the House admitted that they didn't have the evidence and cried and whined that it was the Senate's job to find the evidence.

 

They, only lacked evidence because tRump and his DOJ withheld it. Plenty and sufficient evidence was presented. The Senate GOP was never going to convict nommatter what evidence was presented.

And since then several taped conversations have come to light where he illegally tried to influence election officials.

Thins like that tells us how they think; what their standards and morals are. The bar they use to qualify their own performance is easy to top, it's so low it's underground.

Just last week and example of that is the dems in the state of Oregon deleting the requirement for basic proficiency in math and reading to qualify for a high school diploma. They say that's In the interests of racial equality". Nobody can have a working brain and think that is a good idea or makes any sense, but the dems in Oregon have no problem with it. That's but one example of the stupidity we are seeing in the news everyday..... It's like a pandemic of a brain-eating disease or something.

How do you even know what was in what was withheld? Democrats themselves impeached Trump without enough evidence and claimed it was the Senate's job to find the evidence.

That's nonsense, I watched the Senate trial. tRumps own lawyer's admitted his quilt but argued he still shouldn't be impeached.

And that say's nothing about his several, illegal, attempt's to influence election officials.

Trump has been the first President in the history of the nation to fail to concede an election, accept the resignation of the SecDef and AG following the election, pressure the DOJ, state officials and the courts to overthrow the election and therefore the very foundation of the government of the United States. To cap it off he literally incited a riot at the capitol in the nation's capital on Jan 6th and he followed up this act of sedition with his disgraceful exit from the office, although to be perfectly honest I think most of the folks were pleased to see him slink away in infamy and ignominy. If you disagree with this then I would assert that you Sir are simply one among many of Trump's apologists at the very least.

Not formally and he never, as EVERY PRESIDENT BEFORE HIM HAS, congratulated President Biden for his win. He did everything, including illegally trying to influence election officials, to keep from peacefully transitioning power to the incoming President. In fact he held a rally where he encouraged his supporters to "Fight Like Hell to take their country back"; which resulted in an attempted violent insurrection. FAR, from peaceful. He still says the election was stolen, which it wasn't, BUT, not for tRump's lack of trying.
