365 since President Trump (still feels weird saying that) won the election. I was gonna ask friends on what they thought his accomplishments so far we're and what he's gotten started for his next 3 years and thought that might encourage mixed feelings. So... How do you think things are in your world since he's won? Better and worse? (Notice I didn't use "or". Be optimistic people! lol)
People will no doubt have different opinions on this. I applaud his choice in cabinet members, especially Tillerson and Mattis. I think he was pragmatic about his VP pick. The selection of Gorsuch I think was a good one as we needed to keep some balance on the court. I think from a hard practical standpoint, he hasn't accomplished anywhere near what a Republican President working with Republican controlled Houses of Congress should have been able to accomplish at this point.
I think he's done great. He's moved on pretty much every single thing he said he would and even though they haven't passed yet he at least knows where he stands and can begin the negotiating process. Liberals will whine that he didn't do everything on day 1 but they don't realize it takes time to pass major legislation, its a process, often very involved and it takes awhile. Economy hasn't burned as the left predicted it would and actually seems to be getting stronger and on foreign issues we are still maintaining the status quo basically, no better no worse. Once you cut through all of the lefts hateful rhetoric Trump has done fairly well for his first year.
