Privately funded organization 'We Build the Wall' starts construction of border barrier in El Paso

    Kris Kobach, said on "Fox & Friends" Monday that the project was undertaken because there is a "ridiculously large gap" near Mount Cristo Rey, and drug and human smugglers have been taking advantage of it.


    The barrier will be built on private land. Authorities in the El Paso Sector – which provides support for the counties of El Paso and Hudspeth in the state of Texas and the entire state of New Mexico – apprehend 930 people per day, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

    If it is Private Land and Privately Financed they can do whatever they want.

    The good news is that the average contribution to build more wall is $67 and that there are so many donors that they are about to start a 2nd project. The current project is in a rough landscape that the government hadn’t planned to fence. So these projects are in addition to what Trump and the Army and border patrol are planning.

    That’s true but I still expect to see some open borders liberal group try to invent some excuse to try to stop us in court somehow someway somewhere.

    I don't see any legal basis for that if the land is privately owned.

    anyone that wants to can build a wall on their own private land... can, taking their land by imminent domain to build a wall is the issue
