How many think the evolution bit all the way back to the single cell? Read Cradle of Life a very good science book for surprising information. Professor Schopf is the author. Excellent if you want to trace back to the beginning.
If good old Neil said it, by golly good enough. Proof is not there of course, never mind. It was good old Neil.
We're not 'star stuff', we're water, bone, and sinew. If that bloke is as smart as you say he is then he must have been joking? 'We're made of start dust' - give me a freaking break here!!! https://water.usgs.gov/edu/propertyyou.html
If good old Judith said it, by golly good enough. Proof is not there of course, never mind. It was good old Judith.
Let’s put things in perspective The universe is 14 billion years old.... and in our tiny corner of the universe....detectably intelligent life has only emerged in about the last 150 years. So if someone was interested in finding intelligent life, they would have only had less than 150 years to travel here. This dramatically Limits the eligible star systems from which aliens might conceivably travel And, while aliens might be interested as we are concerning other intelligent life forms, it is not obvious that they would immediately set out to travel 150 light years rather that first trying some form of electronic communication. After all, what is the point of hopping in a space ship before they are able to communicate with us. there is the problem that just because a life forrm is intelligent...like elephants or apes for example .... intelligence by itself is Insufficient to build a technological civilization necessary for space travel We also tend to overlook the fact that there are lots of ways for life forms... even intelligent lifeforms... to go extinct before achieving a technological civilization So there are lots of reasons we are unlikely to encounter intelligent life within any conceivable timeframe
I suppose you have a more accurate explanation as to how molecular transformation transpires and why all observed elements are traced back to or contain the most abundant molecule in existence?
But what about this stardust then - always presuming that it means the dust from stars? How does that get into our makeup?
If you insist on posting long debunked claims that's your business;just don't expect me to take you seriously.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Humanity did not invent anything important. It was given to us. We fought with swords and arrows for 10 000 years, and all of a sudden, near the World War, everyone advances. I don't believe there is such a naive person to believe that. And from there, everything picked up. The Nazis invented the first nuclear power. How? And 50 years later, boom! Internet, wireless charging, Bluetooth, drones, hovercrafts, computers, mobile smartphones, electric cars and solar panels. Why they did not invent anything in 1565? Or in 655 B.C. Surely they had the same tools as the people in 1930.
You have them at disposal. Heard of something called laser cutting, diamond cutting, water high-pressure cutting, blasting, sand-blasting and more?
Seriously?....you do not even understand radiation? I'll tell you what, next time you go outside on a sunny day just sit in the sunlight with some skin exposed for a couple hours. Then look to see what the sunlight did to your skin...it probably changed color as the radiation impacted your cells. Now extrapolate to far more energetic radiation over much longer time frames with much more pressure. Now imagine yourself holding a grenade while it goes off. Changed the way your cells are arranged didn't it. Imagine a grenade the size of the sun exploding and what kind of rearrangement that would do.
Oh so it isn't stardust now then (for some reason I think of Nat King Cole whenever I write that? No importa.) it's our old friend radiation. Not that there's very much difference except one is mineral and the other isn't. Stop floundering tecoyah, it's making you look desperate to win and unwinnable discussion. I've made you doubt yourself, but don't hate me for it???
Wow...you really are that....uh...different. Try this. Star Dust is NOT dust like in your basement. The dust referenced here is debris blown off by dying and exploding stars. This is an incredibly energetic explosion (think of a trillion Nukes going off every second for a month put into a couple nanoseconds) and includes radiation, cosmic rays, fundamental particles....etc...which coalesce into larger particles and eventually things the size of dust and rocks. Basically EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE begins in this way and the ways it gets arranged define what it becomes.
