Right, so you have no idea.

I'm definitely inclined to believe those who make a living from conspiracy theories, government, professionals or others, are often milking them as a raison d'etre or strictly for immense profit.

So do I and these people:

    https://www.psychologytoday.com/blo...8/what-makes-conspiracy-theories-so-appealing
Whether we are talking about bout 9/11 being an inside job, the moon landings being faked, JFK's assassination being ordered by the CIA (or the Mafia, or Fidel Castro, or the KGB) or the world being under the control of shape-shifting reptilian aliens, it seems as if there is someone out there who insists that these conspiracies are true.

Almost inevitably, these conspiracy theorists also insist that Someone Out There (such as the Illuminati, the New World Order, or the Masonic Temple) are suppressing the information that could prove they are right. Entire industries have sprung up to support the various communities espousing this or that theory and no amount of tangible evidence seems capable of dissuading the true believers. And it seems as if every new world event spawns another theory to add to the countless others that are already in place....

.... This research has found evidence that certain personality traits such as Machiavellianism, openness to experience, narcissism, and low agreeability seem especially high in conspiracy believers. They also show lower levels of analytical thinking and a tendency to see "patterns" in often unrelated events. But a new research article published in the journal Social Psychology suggests that conspiracy theories may also provide some interesting psychological benefits for people who choose to believe in them.
    ...

    https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/swim-in-denial/201704/psychology-conspiracy-theory
...When conspiracy theories go mainstream, they’re more likely to be manipulative or weaponized. Rant radio’s Alex Jones regularly uses conspiracy themes as excuses to rage on the air, which apparently thrills his audience. The documentary film “New World Order” follows Jones as he skulks outside a Bilderberg Group meeting [1]. He rants about the group as an evil elite, and pretends to be in mortal danger. His intoxicating spiel is what I’ve called berserk style. It builds toward climactic abandon that never comes. There is no revelation; nobody dies. Snooping around the limos and security jeeps outside the meeting, Jones and his “investigators” are voyeurs peeping enviously at a wealthy elite he insinuates are supremely powerful.

In Jones’s nasty divorce, his lawyer claimed his client’s explosive personality on the air is only an act. “He’s playing a character. He is a performance artist.” That is, Jones is playing “Jones.” Like his conspiracy theories, that is, showbiz makes its propaganda entertaining
    .....

    https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-do-some-people-believe-in-conspiracy-theories/
The point is that some individuals may have a tendency to find such theories attractive. The crux of the matter is that conspiracists are not really sure what the true explanation of an event is—they are simply certain that the “official story” is a cover-up.

You are free to lie about my qualifications.

Alex Jones is worth $10M by milking nutjobs with conspiracy theories.

Thanks but I have no idea what your alleged qualifications are and I have zero incentive to lie about them.

And the US government is making $billions for its state actors and its controlling masters and massacring hundreds of thousands of innocent people using its conspiracy theories as pretext. Alex Jones hasn't killed anyone that I'm aware of, nor do I give a **** about Alex Jones or see him as a dangerous threat.

Yet you felt qualified and incentivized to make this post:
Awesome....and you denied being a conspiracy theorist! :)

So why do you think "the US government" is "massacring hundreds of thousands of innocent people using its conspiracy theories as pretext"?

It was a response to a silly claim of yours (that conspiracies are always revealed). You have no way of knowing that and it's likely completely false.

Why do feel the need to invent things about me? Everyone is a "conspiracy theorist" at one time or another, I have never denied indulging in conspiracy theories. It's not a slur nor is it terrifying to be one. I know you are one since you admit you bought the official US government 9/11 conspiracy theory. Again, many people also make a living from conspiracy theories.

I don't need to "think", it's what the US government does, it's been doing that as a result of its 9/11 conspiracy theory since after 9/11. It's a fact, not a theory.

There's a flaw in your reasoning. If those pictures are fakable, they might be fake so they can't be used as proof. We're not talking about tampering and altering. We're talking about faking. The idea is that there was never anything to alter. How would you know if the files arrived in real time? Is it because the government said so?

    Check this out.

That is breathtakingly ridiculous. They most certainly can be used as proof until someone comes along and PROVES they have been tampered with!

That is many levels more ludicrous than altering the originals. You now claim the entire picture is faked!?

The government?? NASA isn't the government and neither are the team at Arizona State University.

Is it even possible for you to give a straight response or make your mind up! You now want to claim the large images have been Photoshopped, when they are several gigabytes large and form part of a continuous sequence of images, that directly relate to where the LROC was. That would be one of the other reasons how we know they came in real time!

That video Is from a very odd individual who makes appallingly daft errors. This one is so stupid it beggars belief. He has taken one of the tiny photographic segments, put up on a website that have been enhanced in Photoshop to prove they were photoshopped! Have to laugh at how idiotic an observation that is. The original image which is hundreds of times larger than the tiny segment he used, has no such edits.

Hyperbole and conjecture. Pretty much all he says is the hardware is just blobs on a picture. Since the Moon is grey and the hardware dull metallic I am wondering what this blunderer was expecting.

Maybe he is suggesting that the "fakers" used on this VITAL means to "prop up the lie", are actually incompetent. How very idiotic.

An inept analysis on released partials! The area around the hardware has been enhanced as one would expect. He complains that we only see part of the tracks and says "is this why they don't release the full images".

THEY DID release all the full images and they are online. They show the full scope of the LRV travel and vary by Sun angle as to their visibility.

That's incorrect, NASA is a government agency and therefore part of the US government.

NASA is not a government "controlled" agency in the literal sense. They fund it. They don't dictate secret policies or demand hoaxes. Anyone who can even comprehend that they could leverage scientists and engineers to do that is deluded.

Agreed. Consider the NSA, our nations most top secret organization, and Snowden. The larger the organization, the higher probability of a leak. It's only a matter of time. It helps of people within the organization think what it's doing is nefarious.

If they fund it, they control it, period, end of story. Regardless you're still wrong, they are a government agency in every sense, especially literal.

"While this new federal agency ..."

    How would you know?

Really? Deluded? I think anyone who believes they wouldn't is deluded.

You demonstrate the insight of a conspiracy theorist. It must be evil because the government fund it. And yes I AM putting words in your mouth!

They are NOT the government. Period. The company is run as a science organisation and is not under direct government control. The finances largely dictate policy.

I know many people who work for them. I also have faith in human nature. I also do the numbers and logic. If I'm wrong, prove it. It's my opinion.

Off topic and nothing to do with NASA.

As usual ... making *** up. At least you admit it.

Explain that silliness to the US government.

Congratulations, your claim that they are not an agency of the US government and therefore not part of the US government is 100% wrong and already proven wrong. From NASA's website:

    FY2017
    AGENCY FINANCIAL REPORT

As shown in this report, we strive to put your tax dollars to innovative and efficient use. Working in close coordination across Government through the new National Space Council, and with our commercial and international partners, we are charting a new future in space with opportunities for all.

It has everything to do with and a perfect example contradicting your fallacious claim.

    Nope. That's you 100%

I'm arguing with an intransigent. You think that because something is funded by government, it is government. How very short sighted you are. It's all black and white to the conspiracy theorists. Government connection, therefore part of the evil network!

You lie. I didn't claim they weren't an agency - show where i said that or withdraw it!

    Government fund and dictate policy.

No it doesn't. The government does not run NASA and it is zero to do with 911.

If they're a government agency, they're part of the US government and FUNDED and CONTROLLED by the US government, period. If the US government removes the funding or the funding is inadequate, they can't operate, therefore they're CONTROLLED. If the US government disapproves of or denies funding for any NASA project, they can't pursue such project, therefore CONTROLLED. You make no sense, but you'll always manage to throw in the magic words ("conspiracy theory") believing it supports your silly claims.

    Check the mirror hypocrite.

That is just so pathetic. I asked you to show where I said they weren't an agency and you quote me saying they weren't a CONTROLLED agency in the literal sense! Ergo you are a liar.

The level of control is via the funding and policy. Since the original claim that you butted into revolves around them influencing the personnel to collectively commit fraud, your whole response is crap.

Withdraw your claim about me denying they were an agency! Either that or you have serious reading and comprehension issues with basic English.

I checked it. Not a hypocrite. You are an evasive game playing poster. I read those threads you pointed me to and just shook my head at how consistently you exhibit that behaviour.

You're absolutely right, this line of discussion is pathetic, boring and a waste of time.

And that's a perfect example why. Rather than discuss the contents of the threads, you'd rather discuss me.

You lied. You got caught. Nowhere did I deny they were an agency.

That would be because you avoided doing what you claimed, evaded and played word games. The comments aimed at you right ftom page 1 are never answered.

This would get you laughed out of the debating hall as it goes against basic logic. Tell us if you believe those those picures fakable, or not.

You have no understanding of logic whatoever. Your spam about debating halls is ridiculous. You would be ejected for cowardice and ignorance!

You are so ignorant you avoided completely what I just said. Pictures can be altered with the advance of digital editing. Anyone can put blobs on a picture. The problem is that this then leaves variables within the digital footprint that stand out a mile. Just simple bicubic sampling would show it.

Now I say once again, the evidence stands until you PROVE that they have been tampered with. Your useless videos failed miserably to do this. You ignored my response to them and I have no doubt you will spam tbem again at a future date!

Only a paid sophist would demand the impossible.

    http://www.whale.to/m/disin.html
    (exerpt)
    ---------------------------------------------
demand proof that is impossible for the opponent to come by (it may exist, but not be at his disposal
    ---------------------------------------------

Only someone with a high security clearance could get near enough to the material and the team that presented it to be able to prove anything. Anyway, if you maintain that fakable pictures are proof that there were people on the moon, you have no credibility as this is a pretty basic fallacy.

    Your credibility is shot.

Only a total idiot would fail to recognise the main issue. The pictures in their full deconvolved digital footprint are available to anyone with a computer. There is no security clearance needed for somebody with photogrammetry skills to analyse them and determine data inconsistencies!!

You ludicrous joke. Just because something CAN be faked, doesn't mean it is. That is exactly why somebody who doesn't have their head up their butt, needs to prove they are! If you cannot understand that ever so basic thing, there is something wrong with you.

When the judge of anything is a biased, uneducated and very dishonest person, their opinion can be dismissed.

    I just found this.

Moon Landings Hoax Day Collection - Dec 14, 2017

Start watching the video at the 3:43:50 time mark. I'd never seen this anomaly before. The re-entry should have heated up the bottom of the re-entry capsules enough to produce steam when they hit the water but there's no steam. The capsules don't seem to be hot at all.

    edit
    ------------------

I've watched a little more of the video and some strange things are also said. The person doesn't believe the space station is real, etc. The above anomaly seems legitimate though. That video seems to be a mixture.

    another edit
    .........................

I'm still watching the video and there's a lot of strange stuff in it such as the flat earth theory. I wish I'd found that anomaly in a different video.

Your capacity to be led by simpletons, knows no bounds. An ignorant youtuber makes a claim and simply because it conforms to your very biased and badly informed claims, you suck it up! The heat shield on Apollo was made of ablative materials. They were designed to heat up and erode away from the ship, carrying away the energy build up. Once into atmosphere the remaining temperature was quickly dissipated by the atmosphere.

Apollo craft photographed as it performed re-entry:-

I didn't think even you were daft enough to claim that Apollo astronauts didn't go into space!

Seems legitimate? By the criteria of a youtube imbecile who claims the space station is also fake, knows nothing about the materials used on the shield, or how they deal with heat? Once again your appalling belief system clouds any semblance of logic or reason. Perhaps you will add this pathetic video to your wall of spam!
