But yes, I do think that trying to hang the Vice President of the United States and lynch the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States is pretty serious, not to forget, killing a Capitol Police officer. But that's just me; I understand that you don't see it as objectionable. In this, you are with a minority since 86% of Americans, according to polls, were horrified on 1/6/2021. I see that you prefer to address it with whataboutism.

It's just weird that you'll damn the right for crimes that weren't even committed, while you ignore all of the billion plus dollars worth of real damage and the dozen of real lives that were taken across the country over the last year by rioting mobs of left wing lunatics.

I challenge you to find a single post in my posting history where I discounted or condoned their actions, any time it was being discussed here. You'll waste a few hours trying to find one, but let me help you out and save you some time: you won't find any because every single time I spoke about it, I condemned it, and said they needed to be arrested, prosecuted, and thrown in prison if convicted. So, you're trying to drag me to an off-topic issue, and you are trying to hijack my thread with whataboutism. Sorry, no can do. And what the hell are you talking about, that crimes weren't committed? There's been some 210 people indicted already. 5 people died. Go say to the prosecutors who charged numerous people with crimes, some of which with penalties of 20+ years, that no crimes were committed. Hey, if by any chance you're a lawyer, go offer your services to those idiots because they'll need lawyers; their Dear Leader did not pardon them. Now they are in big trouble. No crimes committed? As a centrist, I've said multiply times here that I condemn all extremists, be them the right kind or the left kind. I've been entirely consistent on this. I've just minutes ago posted something about it in another thread. Every time I spoke about the riots, arson, and looting, it was to condemn these events and wish for all who committed these offenses to be indicted, prosecuted, and thrown in prison if convicted (after due process, of course). Even much milder extremisms than that, such as the legitimate exercise of the political ideas of the likes of Bernie Sanders and AOC, I've criticized in strong terms, over and over again.

I see that you're another one of the posters here who think that anybody who is against Trump and against these far-right nut jobs must be the most horrible communist ever known to mankind.

I support the prosecution of anybody who commits crimes, regardless of ideology. That's what a nation of laws should do. This includes former presidents.
As of today, former president Donald Trump has lost presidential immunity. My message to prosecutors: "Stand back and stand by."
