Protesters Caught Burning Aid Truck, Pompeo Blames Maduro

Looks like the video warriors caught the culprits in action. It reminds me of Ukraine when videos were being shown on RT of the protesters throwing Molotov cocktails at the police, and hacking them while the networks were calling them peaceful protests. Of course when Yanukovich gave the police permission to respond, those videos were all over the media.

The fix is in. Everything now is pure theatre.

 

IOW, it is almost too late for Maduro to scoot with the loot.

 

The only loot the U.S. cares about is the oil. This whole thing is about getting big oil into the country.

 

Scoot with what loot, it's been stolen by the Bank of England. Also why would Maduro desert his people? Isn't that traitorous?

 

The Brits have already stolen the gold, so maybe there is no more loot for Maduro to scoot with?

May I ask why YOU believe that Maduro is a scoundrel and does not care for his fellow countrymen? Have you been to Venezuela? How long did you stay and who did you talk to?

I suspect your view of Maduro is very much formed by the propaganda delivered to you, NOT by any personal experience or knowledge.

 

If Maduro and his ilk do not have $Billions stashed in off shore accounts it will be a first.

 

I get what you are saying but oil companies are constantly drilling for new oil supplies. You honestly think they have just stopped and said "we have enough". These companies want the fields in VZ. It gives them more control of the world's supply. It's what they do.

 

I have been critical of the rather obvious "clandestine" activity to remove Maduro. But Maduro set himself up for it.



Putin and Xi should have been shipping boatloads of tampons etc. to VZ years ago if they wanted to keep the hapless Maduro.

 

It is rather baffling that Putin didn't prop up VZ. There has to be a reason. It's not something Putin would have overlooked.

 

If Maduro only cared for money and had billions stashed away as you project, they why wouldn't he just get up and leave and say the heck with his supporters? Seems the idea of leaders having loyalty alludes you.

Maduro makes $1or$2million per year and lives in the Vice-President's house. Chavez' daughter lives in the presidential palace. She is worth $5billion.

Big Oil has a history of conspiring to reduce its own production to hike prices and profits.
Reducing VZ's production is much less painful for Big Oil than reducing its own. In the end, of course, Big Oil companies will regain control of VZ's production.

Those clandestine efforts to overthrow the government began with Chavez. Not sure whether tampons were included on the sanctions list, but certainly parts for the F-16 aircraft we had sold them were on the list.

You are insinuating that big oil doesn't want control ASAP because production is being reduced anyway. I don't believe that for a second. Those companies are frothing at the mouth and jockeying for position right now. It's happening as we speak, hence all this theatre we are witnessing.

 

Again, Maduro's "friends" in Russia and China should have made sure VZ never ran out of tampons.
