Private school students in the U.S.A. out score public school students in both SAT and AP testing. Though academics may be higher, diversity tends to lack. How are these two different institutions comparable to each other and what are the different pros and cons for each institution? Try to look at it through the eyes of a parent who's choosing the best for their child.

Most kids in private school would still outperform public school students if they attended public school instead of private school. To attend a private school, pretty much you have to live in a middle class or above family.

Government-run indoctrination center & prison camp for a child where thoughts are controlled, one-size-fits-all learning, "wrong" thinking is punished, and authority is paramount; or a school that cares about academics, critical thinking skills, and helps children learn to network for a more secure future? Tough decision.

In the USA private schools are where the elite send their kids to. No public school in the USA is worth the money the taxpayer pays into. There are simple reasons why private schools do better. And it ain't overcrowding, poor facilities, outdated material, and other crap propaganda the public school unions banter to get bigger paychecks.

    Private schools do better because:
    1) they are accountable for thier actions, spending, and progress. Pubic schools=not.
    2) thier teachers, are not tenured, and must perform to hold a J.O.B. Pubic schools=not.
    3) They function on less administration, and have less useless postions to waste money on. Pubic schools=not.
    4) They don't have to pay unions and no political affiliations. Pubic schools=not.
    5) They don't have a educational requirement for their teachers, just performance criteria. Pubic schools=not.
    6) Their nutrition program for lunch is often first class. Pubic schools=not.
    7) They meet regularly with parents. Pubic schools=not.
    8) They exist on their reputation and success, and have strict budgets to abide by. Pubic schools=not.

I could go on, but you get the point. Just some basic simple easy to identify strenghts, and easy to identify pubic school fails, and you can see where the difference is.

I know there will be some US pubic school players who feel they are at a disadvantage, but fact is pubic school players make more money than a private school teacher, almost 2x the amount with life long benifits. Private school teachers have almost no benifits and work almost 2x the hours.
