Well there you have it. The Kremlin sock puppet blaming the West(may as well say USA) for all the 30+ million losses Roosha sustained in the war. West created Hitler and used him on the former SU.....and this is the thanks we get for all the lend lease, SPAM meat, mitts and socks so vatniks wouldnt freeze their toes in their "valenkis" during winter. If it wasn't for this help, most Russkis would've ended up as lampshades in German living rooms.

Of course it's propaganda, but there is little doubt that Hitler was the villain, and early on the soviets and the west saw each other as enemies to use as a shield against their other enemy, the Nazis. Later coming together against their common enemy as you alluded to. But nobody sacrificed as much as the Soviets.

The Treaty of Versailles played a role in Hitler's rise as it neither permanently neutered Germany nor treated it with respect, violating the basic rules of strategy and leading to WWII. So in that sense, yes, it was the West's fault.

There is no question that Hitler started WWII. Why would he suggest something else?

but lend lease was merely on paper, concocted to whitewash the Western 'allies' because they first helped the Nazis, and it is only after Stalingrad that they betrayed Hitler and sided with CCCP in order to share the spoils of war.

The West was at war with the Nazis from 1939 (except the US, which was a tad late) so I don't think that counted as help...

    no, it wasn't.

the West gave up France, and England promised Nazis to not stab them in the back.

otherwise Hitler wouldn't even venture to launch the invasion.

CCCP thus had to fend off a united West.

    and the West lost.

Hitler was created by Christians that hated jews cause they thought jews killed Jesus and of course they wanted their to only be one religion.. theirs

good Christians looked the other way and bad Christians encouraged it

on the flip side, good Christians helped to bring down Hitler once he went too far

The Versailles Treaty and the Jews were all the foolish excuses Hitler needed.

Hitler was actually Stalin's role model; they imposed the same type of regimes. The Nazi intellectuals, especially Goebbels, were great admirers of the Russian Revolution and Lenin. Goebbels used to gush constantly over the glories and greatness of Soviet Russia in his early newspapers.

lol rubbish. Anybody who wants to know what Nazis thought of Christianity need only go to archive.org and find the Hitler Youth Handbook for the Party's line on Christianity. Himmelr was a pagan, and Nazi rituals were based in paganism, the grand 'religion' most hippies adore these days.

Well, the west did create Hitler. Germany took the brunt of the blame for WW1, and was punished harshly, even though they didn’t start the war. With the support of Woodrow Wilson , the western allies levied harsh war reparations on Germany, thus giving a opportunity for a conman, and rabble rouser like Hitler to rise to power.

No, Hitler hated communists and Mussolini was his inspiration as a leader, and not Lenin. By the way, the books of Marx were burnt in Germany during Nazi times.

All three were literally the same type of authoritarianism, based on the power of the state.

The West made Germany pay for WWI for no actual reason, and the amount they demanded was just insanely high, making them slaves till eternity with a debt they could never repay. That resentment made the rise of Hitler possible, and so the allied west is partially responsible for the start of WWII.

During WWII, the US sat back for years. The US entered WWII at the end of 1941. The war started in 1939. And Dday happened in 1994. That's when they actually started doing something. And than the US does tend to take the credit for winning the war while they pulled the smallest effort and smallest sacrifice.

Lend-Lease kept the British afloat, as well the Soviet’s until they move their industrial base pass the Urals. The Russians did take the brunt that’s a fact, but losing almost 500,000 is no small sacrifice. But, you are right, the people tend to take to much credit for defeating the Nazis, when in fact it was a combined effort.

@zoom_copter66 hey Zoomie, long time :)

Russia / USSR was also excluded from participation be "The West".

Go figure the costs of "reparations" imposed on Germany
    and the nation's economy.

Putin just may be correct. Like Putin or Not!

I generally choose not. Putin is certainly the most dangerous Russian we have faced since Stalin, very much as if 007 became the President.

Roosevelt's idea was to let Hitler and Stalin tear each other up. Churchill thought that about the stupidest idea going and Roosevelt only agreed after he saw Hitler and Stalin team up to gangbang Poland. Then he realized that power will always trump ideology in a tyrant's eyes. We were big time lucky in WWII. If Hitler hadn't declared war on us on December 10, 1941 we might have stayed out long enough to give Hitler time to develop the Bomb first.l

Hitler was late in dominating the Nazi Party. First came such leaders as the Strasser brothers, and Goebbels was a huge fan of the Russians as well. The Peanut Gallery can find Goebbel's biography by Reimann, look up 'national bolshevism', and other facts about the Nazi Party; it was heavily influenced by the Leninists. Only later did it become about personal loyalty to Hitler. Goebbels and others considered the Soviet commies their natural socialist allies against 'The West'.

Neah. The US hardly did a thing till 1944. All it was is do some financing while the Jews were being gassed. Kind of cowardly to be honest.

You’d be wrong, and there was no mean of saving the Jews, since Hitler’s final solution was taking place in Poland. I’ll let my great uncle who lost his leg fighting in Italy, that he didn’t contribute anything.
