I now have a discussion going with Rabbi Shaul Marshall Praver that could become relevant to inspiring President Donald J. Trump to coopt at least some aspects of the Andrew Yang campaign for the Presidency?

Like Rabbi Praver I personally regard the TRUTH as being complex as opposed to simple. I also think that there is significant ARTISTIC VALUE in the conflicts that TRUTH tends to get all of us involved in.

Observation and reflection
Concerning Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s use of the word “Concentration Camps” in describing the status of applicants for citizenship detained and interned at the US border.

I can see how that strong term “Concentration Camps” may help Americans consider the severity of the trauma suffered by people at the border as they are interned pending processing by immigration judges; and I am present to the horror of the separation of children from their families and accounts of other human rights violations including rape; and generally the messy incompetence and mean spirit that has shown up in this very ugly chapter in American history.

I am also present to the traumatic memory that these events drudge up for Japanese Americans.

And last but not least, I can also see how the term “Concentration Camps” is associated with the Nazi death camps. As such, I believe it becomes of source of concern for many Jewish Americans when the term is put into unqualified broader use; and when little effort is made to point out key distinctions between concentration camps formed for temporary whare-housing of human beings during times of war and political crisis, and Nazi concentration camps that digressed into death camps, wherein the end was not a resumption of human life but extermination and genocide.

In Nazi death camps, individuals survived and millions perished. At the border, the entire group survives and a few individuals perish. A tragedy for these individuals and their loved ones for sure, but nonetheless, concerning this matter of death, a mirror opposite of Nazi concentration camps. I wonder if it is wise from a political algebraic perspective, to use the term in such an unqualified way, when such a vast and obvious difference exists between these events—-literally the difference of life and death.

Congresswoman Cortez defends her use of the term “Concentration Camps” in a manner that refuses to acknowledge the other association it has for many Jews. It would therefore have served the Congresswoman well, to at least, wonder out loud at the potential pain her use of “Concentration camps” could have for many people;and her wish not to hurt Jews in her efforts to help Latinos.

It appears that Cortez in this instance, intentionally or unintentionally is dividing up racial groups by presenting a menu of false choices. I, therefore wish to differ with the congresswomen and forthrightly assert that she appears to be culturally tone deaf and severely lacking in cultural competency as it pertains to Jews and all others who perished in Nazi death camps. The subtotal of her use of the term “concentration camps” and her defensiveness, presents as rigid and immature.

Moreover, her approach is not constructive nor progressive in that she turns people against each other in a contest for pity, recognition and suffering. Her foray lacks wisdom, and distracts from the progressiveness she claims to embody.

Even if the congressman had insisted on using the term “concentration camps” for its shock appeal and magnetic attraction of free press coverage, she could have been present to Jewish American perceptions of such terminology and articulate some of the differences I have highlighted above. Whereas, her smug indifference, conveys a certain passive aggressive hostility towards Jews that puzzles me.

The process begins with “Arrest” which can digress into being “Detained” which can digress into being “Interned” which can digress into being a “prisoner of war,” which can digress into being a “concentration camp prisoner,” which can digress into being a “death camp prisoner.”
Therefore, while “concentration camps” is often associated with detention and internment, it concurrently suggests, death camps, like sheep are corralled before slaughter.

In conclusion, I believe the congresswoman could have found a way to advocate for the people interned at the border in a way that was not so dam divisive!

Concurrently with this observation, I empathize with the trauma experienced by Japanese Americans interned during the years of the war. I cannot help but feel for Japanese Americans who suffered that horrible trauma and Humiliation; and as so heartfully expressed:

Rabbi, very well stated. I myself think that the term concentration camp is appropriate however; what did bother me about Cortez‘s statement was that she invoked the term “never again “which immediately draws your mind as a comparison to the holocaust. As a Jew, that greatly offended me. It almost seemed like she was trivializing what happened in Nazi Germany. On several other occasions, she has been “tone deaf“ to Jewish issues. I think perhaps there might be something more to this. In my sincere opinion, it is part of what’s being called the anti-Semitic left. Four instance, in France you have the anti-Semitic left, the anti-Semitic right and the Islamists who are causing havoc to the Jewish community there. In the current atmosphere within this country,, norms are starting tour road and hate is starting reassert it self again. What is happening on the southern border is beyond disgusting and inhumane. But it is not the same as what happened in Germany. I had another more liberal minded Jew who said to me “what would you say if this was your own family or if this was someone that was close to you, how could you live with it?“. I simply said to her that I do not have to imagine it since my family on my mother side immigrated from South America to the United States and were also treated quite poorly. It did not matter whether you were Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Hindu or whatever; if you spoke Spanish, that was the problem. Granted, that was almost a lifetime ago, but they are the same sentiments. This administration does not have to do this. There could be a more humane way to process people who are seeking asylum but they choose not to do this so it gives the president redmeat for his base of supporters. Very sad.

Here is the event from the life of President Trump that has me suspicious that he has been out to deal with the mathematical problems created by compound interest over time.... that Moses / Moshe addressed through the Jubilee year system.

On a personal level I am still in the running to be chosen to represent the People's Party of Canada here in Central - Nova, N. S., Canada in the October 2019 federal election.

I personally believe that at least a few Democrats should consider the possible positive ramifications of taking a somewhat positive approach toward President Trump as opposed to risking exaggerating the accusations against him. It might be a good way to get a lot of money for all Americans much as I personally am hoping to get a lot of money for all Canadians.... in my own proposed variation of a Basic Minimum Income that I put in front of our Prime Minister a few days ago.

Dennis Tate— concerning Basic Minimum Wage, I’ve been enjoying the lectures of Yuval Noah Harari who I greatly respect even though he is a materialist and I am a spiritualist. He admits he doesn’t insist on any particular idea or theory but seeks to merely be an “enzyme” or “stimulant” that stirs movement in new uncharted paths; and he admits he can not understand the phenomenon of consciousness. In this respect, I hear his humility and because of it, I can suffer his mechanistic materialism, because he is so dam clear and disciplined in his expressions.

Here is a topic that you and I may be able to accomplish some good with. Former Atheist Howard Storm
during his near death experience asked about the Holocaust and was told the following:

"I asked how God could let the Holocaust of World War II happen. We were transported to a railway station as a long train of freight cars was being unloaded of its human cargo. The guards were screaming and beating the people into submission. The people were Jewish men, women, and children. Exhausted from hunger and thirst, they were totally disoriented from the ordeal of being rounded up and sent on a long journey to an unknown destination. They believed that they were going to work camps, and that their submission to the brutality of the guards was the only way to survive.

We went to the area where the selection process was taking place and heard the guards talking about "the Angel Maker." We went to the place the guards were referring to as "the Angel Maker," which was a series of ovens. I saw piles of naked corpses being loaded into the ovens, and I began to cry. Jesus said to me, "These are the people God loves." Then he said, "Look up." Rising out of the smoke of the chimneys, I saw hundreds of people being met by thousands of angels taking them up into the sky. There was great joy in the faces of the people, and there appeared to be no trace of a memory of the horrendous suffering they had just endured. How ironic that the guards sarcastically called the ovens "the Angel Maker."

I asked how God could allow this to happen. They told me that this was not God's will. This was an abomination to God. God wants this never to happen again. This was the sacrifice of an innocent people to whom God had given the law to be an example, a light, to the rest of the world. This Holocaust was breaking God's heart. The anguish that Jesus was suffering at the slaughter of his people was too much for me to bear and I begged that we leave this place. I will never forget this: his anguish at this horror and what it represents. This was one of the low points in human history."

I asked, Why does God let things like this happen? They told me that God was very unhappy with the course of human history and was going to intervene to change the world. God had watched us sink to depths of depravity and cruelty at the very time that he was giving us the instruments to make the world a godlier world. Some gifted people report that the unborn........
experience great fear as the time for them to be aborted
draws closer and closer.

Could it be that the unborn do experience extreme fear and suffering
during their abortions? If so... then could we Canadians and Americans who
have been so silent about this issue be somewhat like the citizens of Germany who
should have know about the events of the Holocaust.... and frankly... they should have joined the

I've been studying near death experience accounts and related phenomena since 1990 and I
personally am not laughing at this gifted person who claims to hear the cry of the unborn......

A second day of prayer

During my sleep after the second day of prayer I became aware of a vibration similar in effect to the tingling of an inaudible high-pitched tone, which becomes lower in frequency and begins to become audible. I was attracted to the source of this vibration and moved through space towards it.

As I moved I felt space and time dissolve before me. I approached a sphere of light, first golden in colour, then gradually changing to yellow, and finally to a bright white as I penetrated further. I became aware of the Presence of the Love and the Holiness of God. I stopped. I became aware of small growing specks originating from and coming forth from the centre of the sphere of light. I received the distinct impression that God was sacrificing Himself and was creating human souls out of His Substance. The changes in size and shape of the souls seemed identical to the changes in size and shape of the bodies of pre-born children.

There were, however, three things, which puzzled me about this.

I could not detect any waste byproduct of this process. All of the Substance used was transformed into souls. None was left over and nothing appeared to be lacking in the makeup of the souls at any time.

I could not detect any indication of the sex of the children.

All the souls were different. There were no twin souls.

As these human souls came forth an attunement took place between them and me. The attunement or consciousness was not of or through physical bodies but was a consciousness of souls and therefore unrestricted by space, time and matter. I was conscious of each of the souls and they of each other and of me.

The souls of the children were perfect. There was absolute harmony and complete awareness of each other. I felt the exercise of the free wills of the children but felt no opposition of any of their wills against each other nor to me. Then the children, and therefore I, became aware of something terrifying about to happen. We grew in awareness of what it was.

The children, without exception, with one mind, without hesitation and with all their being cried out with a cry of terror such as I had not heard in my entire life.

This act of terror killed their bodies and halted the growth of their souls, which I then saw flowing down the walls of the Vancouver General Hospital. The souls then oscillated within a range of distances from the centre of the sphere of light. These distances then appeared to become constant and appeared to depend on the size of the soul.

Previously I got back some interesting comments related to this topic that I think are useful:

The world is a tangled ball of yarn!

then, we have issues like abortion.
on the surface, of course abortion is wrong, but with the tangled ball of yarn, what is the best means to end it?
on the one hand, there's the simple issue of the sanctity of human life, so of course it must end.
on the other hand, there has been the sin of treating women as inferior.
so, women's equality has a place, too.

then, we have a political party saying, "No abortion, while trampliong on all other God-given rights
You and I both know the surrounding setting must be brought into balance before the end of abortion can be attained.
In other words, society had better be willing to treat all those who are born as sacred as well as though yet to be born.
I have a feeling that other areas of discord come from the same place.
The gender issues are very knotty.
Personally, I am programmed as heterosexual, so LBGT feels intrinsically alien to me, and I could easily be swayed to interpret scriptures from both Bible and Qur'an to persecute them.
Yet, I also know they're God's children and I'm supposed to be against the sin, not the sinner.

I also know that the underlying spirit of the Law determines how God's Law is meant to be applied today.
And that shifts as the situation shifts.
I wonder whether the ball of yarn is so tangled that these issues cannot be resolved until other underlying issues are resolved.
In other words, in Isaiah 49, God says the healing begins with the tribes, but the salvation then extends throughout the Earth.

world economy are facing a ONE HUNDRED TRILLION DOLLAR MELTDOWN in the world's seven hundred and ten trillion dollar Derivatives market........ because........
Art in some form may be one of the only ways to keep the Derivatives market stable........
and.....
the theme of the Restoration of the Lost Tribes of Israel....
the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple..... and the building of the Ezekiel chapter forty to forty eight
Ezekiel Temple complex.......
and... bringing peace to the Middle East are concepts for films that will have great artistic value to KING DAVID when he is finally raised up for the Jewish people.......
and when he is.... the ART THAT IS RELATED TO the restoration of the Lost Tribes of Israel and to
the fulfillment of all prophecies will have off the scale VALUE TO KING DAVID..... who will be capable of
balancing even the tangled world economy!

Bringing actual peace to the Middle East is a theme that could
be a great place to divert a significant percentage of those Derivatives.....
so that they end up connected to a project that will have value that will last a minimum of a thousand years!

I mean as in adopt..... but I do think that five hundred per month if it was financed in the correct way like President Lincoln did..... or as President JFK began to do......... That could work.......

after all the people who are capable of printing DERIVATIVES have printed up seven hundred and ten trillion of them as of 2014... so why not use the Federal Reserve as perhaps it had been intended......
